Mine generally look like this. The fine silty clay out in Uwharrie doesn’t come out.

    Windrock Broncos

I’ve been eyeballing WR. I’m in Charlotte thinking about making a run. The timing lines up nice for Nov 1. I need to figure out some logistics (sleep).
  5. Starlink Mini Mount - The Velcro Solution (strong!)

I don’t suspect that I will ever have to count on that wire. this thing is going nowhere.
  6. 74WELD Steering Rack Clunking - Check Yours!

Just got back from the shop and now it's sorted. The rack wasn't completely bolted to the subframe...unbelievable. Sorry @74Weld. Feels solid now.
  7. 74WELD Steering Rack Clunking - Check Yours!

Actually, I don’t think the effing rack is mounted to the subframe. It’s moving back and forth with the wheel. I don’t think this one’s on 74weld, guys.
  8. 74WELD Steering Rack Clunking - Check Yours!

I experienced this today out on the trails. I just got the 74weld stage 1 installed last week and hadn't noticed any of this chatter, clunk, nastiness going on with the steering rack. I was on Dickie Bell for about 8 seconds when I noticed it. I thought something had broken..I could hear it as...
  9. Starlink Mini Mount - The Velcro Solution (strong!)

Thanks! I did, but it has a safety wire that goes through the stand and wraps around the metal bracket that holds the speaker. This way, if it does happen to blow off, which it hasn’t up to 80 mph, the safety wire will catch it. It is damn solid. That’s an Element 100 with their roll bar...
  10. Starlink Mini Mount - The Velcro Solution (strong!)

I talked a little bit on the forums about how I’ve mounted my Starlink mini. At first I had it stuck face up flat to the roof with Velcro and it worked fine and stayed, but I didn’t want to deal with overheating...never happened, but it could I suppose. …If you have the larger pods for your...
  11. 6,500 road trip in the Bronco, what I learned

Wow! Awesome read this morning - what incredible shots! Super jealous!
  12. My Starlink Mini Mount

Yeah, I hear you. But try this out... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXFH2MGC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 My roof in the Bronco sticks to this like last night's tequila shots to a bad decision. Add 2 or so and it won't go anywhere. It has 3M backing to stick to the Starlink. Maybe you...
  13. My Starlink Mini Mount

Yeah, they make some incredibly strong industrial velcro that can almost feel permanent when you're trying to separate it from whatever it's attached to. Not sure where swooshdave is driving but he'd much quicker tear up his rig than his starlink to fall off the ceiling with a strong velcro. LOL...
  14. My Starlink Mini Mount

Works fine where I drive in Uwharrie over some very gnarly terrain. Never so much as started to peel. 15lb Velcro and 199 degree glue backing. Unless you’re jumping off cliffs, pretty sure you’ll be fine.
  15. My Starlink Mini Mount

You know what else works - a big 2" wide strip of velcro down the middle of the face of the dish edge to edge, then stick it to the roof. Done.
  16. 74weld now on the B6G forum! Page 31
