Does anyone know the distance from the front wheel hub face to the wheel pivot point? Even a SWAG would suffice for now. That measurement would really help us determine clearance for different tire sizes and wheel combinations.

7.5" seems to be the common minimum width tire manufacturers recommend for 285/70/R17s. So the black steelies should work. I'll have set of 5 BD steelies available sometime in August (assuming my production date doesn't get pushed further right).

The minimum recommended wheel width is 8.5”. The upgraded Ford wheels (Gloss Black Aluminum) for the BD are 7.5” ( 8” at the most). I have not been able to verify that for sure, but the BL wheels are 17x8 and the Sas wheels are 17x8.5, so it makes sense that they’d be either 7.5 or 8. Rather...

About 50 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah—lots of desert dirt roads to test the Hoss suspension at high speed! Unless it is further delayed and I don’t get it till October—then it will be Moab.
