I suppose you could, but that would require separating the light emitters from the main harness and creating your own harness. We don't have instructions handy to do this.

I’m not aware of a tutorial at the moment. I know you can use certain oscilloscopes to decode LIN & CAN. You’d have to isolate the appropriate wire from the module listed in the document I posted from Ford.

Electromagnetic interference is likely the culprit. Try getting some ferrite clamps for the wires. Clamp one around each set of positive and negative wires.
