Got the second front differential installed, went over the install with shop foreman and tech while on the rack. They checked the oil, drained and refilled it from the factory to be sure. No issues with the transfer case or drive shaft.
Set it to Sport and drive it home. Upon pulling into the...
That is what I am hoping, haven’t heard back yet, but I know they ordered a new diff on Friday.
In terms of why they didn’t just replace the seals, it was leaking in a few places and they follow Ford guidance on testing. Perhaps Ford is seeing return visits for people that have similar problems...
Mine was also received with the Michigan rust, they sit in a train yard, ride on to load up and this time of year it’s going to get rusted. In typical bone dry California I have not seen one Bronco without it. Service engineers also shared it’s one all of them. Doesn’t make it feel right. But...
I think they should be issuing a TSB for the differential and seal leak, maybe its a matter of still trying to determine how many Broncos are impacted and from which plant or build dates, etc…it can’t be easy to sort out until they start seeing lots of these issues. Honestly I would not have...
Yes I am glad it happened right away. I checked in on it today, and they have a new from differential ordered so far. I am kind of worried about where the drive shaft connects to it. I was assured everything would be inspected and any parts needed would be ordered under warranty.
I am waiting...
My 2023 SAS Wildtrak has the infamous front differential leak within 8k miles.
Ford service center confirmed the issue and ordered a new front differential per Ford’s repair guidance. It was installed and I was called to pick it up today.
Upon arriving I asked them to put it on a rack and...
Guys take a look at this, not the best recording but here it is, you think this is the same issue?
Also is there a fix or are they trying seals first and then something else?
Right now, the best sounding system IMHO is the mObridge +Morel package with their tailgate sub box. These guys spent a good amount of time developing and tuning the package for the Bronco. After 2 days of finalizing the tuning I believe they have the best combo for our Broncos. More is not...
You can run the center speakers, latest mobridge firwmware I am testing has a few different algorithms to choose from for the center. Because you have ultimate flexability with the DSP profiles, you can have one that is front stage focused with no center, and one that is surround focused with...
You guys need to reach out to Galpin Ford Service In CA. They are your biggest dealer in SoCal, they would not even schedule an appointment for me, nor has the service manager returned my call. I was also told the recall for the seatbelt was not being done and all this just left me to post to...
This is a door closing issue not window rolling up, it rolls up fine, it just will not close without a hard slam when it’s more than 1/4 way up.
I had the “window” issue on back passenger door and was able to fix that, I know how it happened. I continually was thinking I was rolling up drivers...
Strange issue. I don’t know when it started happening, but the Passenger front door requires a hard slam to close. I lowered the window all the way down, and I don’t have to slam it. I put the window up about 1/4 of the way its still fine no slam required…I hit the 1/2 way point of window rolled...
You are going to be very happy with mObridge. I have had Hertz and now Morel speakers in and both sound soo much better than B&O system. Subwoofer upgrade is necessary, haven’t heard the JL but people seem to like it and its the only decent option to go in the OEM space.
