since it's only $495 extra on big bend, just get it now. it'll be disengaged when on pavement and doing it later won't really save you all that much. actually, 495 is probably saving you money...buy the diff and install is going to be over that
compared this to a jeep rubicon 2 door similiar spec'd and the jeep came out to over $46k. if you care about off road bang for buck there is nothing close to base bronco + v6 + sasquatch.
paying for ford navigation is something that ill never do. google maps through android auto has vastly greater amounts of data that would be useful for your navigation needs.
keep nothing in it and keep the doors unlocked is what i've done for years. have come back to the glove box being opened over night probably 3 times in 10 years
toyota 4runners have the highest rollover rate of all large SUVs. slightly better than the 2 door wrangler (24.6% vs 27.9%). wrangler being the highest of all vehicles.
and people buy 4runners and wranglers left and right for decades
