Honestly think the worst part of this entire process is not the waiting...It is when you get your vin and you start worrying about all of this price protection and if it was going to be honored. I fully intended to walk if there was a problem but in my heart of hearts not sure I could have done...
Thanks. My eyes don't see much so that is surprising! Lost the entire afternoon installing a new grill and breaking 1/2 of every plastic clip possible despite my efforts to not do so and having the right tools-so didn't measure mine. I am 100% outsourcing the minor stereo work I was going to...
Wow....Both look really awesome. You should give us a car washing clinic too as I know how hard it is to keep a black raptor clean-now you have two awesome dirt and dust magnets and clearly do a great job keeping them looking their best. I am in complete agreement-two door and a Raptor-no fun...
Those bolts and salt water...They will "patina" in about a year. Love the wheels though. Been running them since 2012 on my F 150 Raptor. Bronco looks awesome BTW.
Can't speak specifically to the Billsteins but Ford shipped the gen 1 F 150 raptors with three different perch settings all handled via a similar clip. I moved mine up as did a ton of the Gen 1 raptor population and never heard of a singular issue. I drove mine very hard and was not at all...
My 2 Door Non Sas Badlands just arrived. Does anyone know what the actual rake is on the stock wheels and tires? Relative to F 150 Raptors which show up with a fair amount I don't see much with the naked eye....Will measure later this week but was curious if anyone knows.
1025 days later. My Bronco has been picked up and driven home. Feeling for any other Day 1 res holders still waiting. While it has been a long wait, I am so happy to have it. PP and MY Transition were applied which was no small chunk of change too. Best Cinco de Mayo ever.
Just wanted to update the thread. I picked up my Bronco today. I am a day 1 reservation holder, dumped WT so I was eligible for two quite sizable rebates. Fortunately everything worked out-they were claiming that the system would not let them combine them before delivery occurred but that...
Would be great for actual pics to get uploaded to this thread or in another thread from this event. There were hundreds there and only a few are seen in the video which was enjoyable btw.
someone is going to end up making a flare between the Non Sas and Sas size that is going to look good and make an absolute killing. Havoc is working on a new flare and am sure there are others. None of the ones out there today look great IMHO other than the ADV kits but that is a heck of a lot...
Turnkey or build your own is what it boils down to at the end of the day. Vaughn Gittin's first Bronco he ordered was a non sas Badlands because as he said, I am going to put my own wheels and tires on it. Both versions are awesome. Follow whatever path you want. Neither one is universally...
Congrats and great build. I am in the same build week you are in...still waiting been a long one for sure as I was a day 1 hour 1 reservation holder.
Enjoy the heck out of it.
Have run Method 305s used to be called NVs on my F 150 Raptors since 2012. Fantastic wheel and they look great. That said, bead grip options were not available back then. Would take a hard look at those as well.
