I've offroaded manuals for years. I can't think of a single time where I was paying attention to the tach. If it's a technical trail I'm watching the trail and my spotter and listening to the engine, not watching the dash. The sound of the engine will tell me if I need to shift. Heck, I've...
Under 6' and you fit decent enough. For myself I found it easier to remove the seat and just add a cushion on the floor. I fit perfectly that way.
Back to the Bronco. His review showed may things other reviewers didn't talk about. It's nice having a 'non-offroader' guy perspective on the truck.
I talked with Doug earlier this year before the pandemic started. He wants to do a review on my AZ-1 next time he's in my area. I'd love to see him try to fit 6'4" inside it. I don't fit too well at 6'1". Yeah, he's a bit goofy on screen but he's a decent enough guy in reality.
Quarry inside the Robinson Ranch. It's not a public spot or place anyone off roads. Literally 5 miles from my house.
When I heard Austin I assumed/hoped they meant Hidden Falls Adventure Park out by Marble Falls. I know that place like the back of my hand and helped cut several of the trails...
I have a couple hundred shares I bought a few years ago I forgot were sitting in my holdings. I'm currently underwater on them. I might as well get something out of them. I had no idea about the X-Plan deal for stockholders. Anyone know where I go to register for that?
edit: Found the link...
It seems people are saying the Antimatter Blue is darker than it looks online. Nearly black with streaks of blue in the right light. The computer colored images seem to make it look lighter than it really is. I'm torn between Velocity Blue, Area 51, and Cyber Orange. I though I wanted Orange...
Saw that thread right after asking. I mean, I get exclusivity stuff. People like to have a 'rare' combo. If they'd just give me a green like on my profile pic I'd be happy.
Wait, where did "Lightning Blue" come from? That's the first I've seen it mentioned. It's a perfect middle ground of Velocity and Antimatter. Is that really an available color? What other new colors are they holding back?
edit: Oh, it's an FE only color. Booooo
Clearance behind the light doesn't look like it'd fit more inboard. Also, out there it can be swiveled out for more coverage to the sides when on the trail. My old D-90 had corner lights that served kind of the same purpose. If you're on a tight trail it's nice being able to see around an...
I used the hell out of my D-90. Its value is around the same as the Bronco these days. I'll be the idiot out there on the trail with it flopped within the first 90 days of ownership. You cry about that first scratch but once it's done you're freed of the worry and things get more extreme. It's...
I previously owned a '94 D-90 NAS. It was an amazing rig. I sold it 7-8 years ago. Yes, I occasionally regret that. When I heard they were finally bringing us a new one I couldn't contain my excitement and was ready to buy. Then I saw it and walked away disappointed. This is coming from a Land...
