Went and did some more investigating. For some silly reason - the bumper wiring harness runs directly behind the hole. Leaving it exposed seems like a recipe for disaster.
Seems like it’s in all the raptor bumpers - you just don’t see it because the plastic cover also covers that middle piece. (eBay listing for reference)
Assuming it’s likely fine to leave uncovered / can imagine what is behind that which would be problematic.
Working on changing the skid and front plastic trim to black. Purchased the black end caps from the normal modular bumper - but there is a rectangular cut out in the bumper that isn’t present on the normal MOD bumper
Any idea what’s behind it?
Will be powder coating this skid black.
Has anyone figured out a way to reattach the rear cover when replacing the factory Rigids with something better?
I'm going to reinstall my Baja Designs squadrons I had on my Wildtrak - but would love to keep that rear cover if possible.
Is there a center hole to mount only one light or did someone modify the bracket in the above photo? Is everyone wiring these to the AUX wiring behind the trim panel on the passenger side?
Amazing sounding exhaust. Includes the extension pipe to install on a 4dr.

Perfect-I was looking to scrap the other two wires/plugs since they are unused.
I posted a thread with the install here ->
Thank you! The one light wiring harness was what I was looking for. Prefer the cleanliness of just having the one.
Here is a thread I started on the fog setup ->...
