I just happened to click a video about the new Bronco... saw that they actually put the mirrors in the right place so you can take the doors off and decided immediately it was indeed a Jeep killer, and the only thing worthy to replace by 87 YJ CJ thing that I have been working on for 8 years.

I am glad you wrote this up! This is the configuration I ordered... two door. I think the 2.3 is going to seem like a rocket engine compared to the 130 horsepower 4.0 ho in my 1987 wrangler / cj frankenjeep.

If it was a daily driver - I would have gotten the auto. Since this is a backup / toy / fun car for me, I went with the manual. Also, I have a kid learning to drive, and I would like to teach him how to operate a MT.

On some Bronco Sports at my dealer.... the cactus grey was less blue in person compared to the pictures on the ford site. The area 51 blue looks way cooler in person too. To me, the cactus color looks like something from the 60s and I stuck with it. I would say if you want a lighter blue...

I put in my contract yesterday. Packey Webb Downers Grove IL - no dealer markup. MSRP. $1000 non refundable to put in the order. Contract signed showing the out the door price - including taxes, doc fees and everything else. I did not attempt an x package or any discounts.

I just put in my order for the two door BL with stick, 2.3, and 4:7 on the contract. I like to wheel using a manual transmission - just for the fun and challenge - and I did not want to wait for the manual / squatch option. It looks like it won't take much to put on 35s if I decide later...
