I'm glad I stumbled across this thread as I am just preparing to do a rough country winch and mount install.

Given current events I've developed something of a phobia regarding cutting things off that can not be re-attached. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Do I have to remove the bumper to install the gussets? I don't have any options (stock black diamond) and I'm sure I can do it but I don't know if I have to.
