  1. Texas Bronco Off-Rodeo Christmas 2023

And as far as avoiding 6th Street (or Austin in general...known throughout most of Texas as Soddom and Gomorrah), just ask an Aggie. Best stay rural, although stop in Lockhart if you can.... great people and great food ...the best of everything.
  2. Texas Bronco Off-Rodeo Christmas 2023

How are the tent camping options around there and did you have a few in your group do so? I live less than 3 hours from Horseshoe Bay, but reckon an overnight trip when I go. Any insight you care to share is very much appreciated by fellow Texas Bronco drivers....even if it's a long story.
  3. Mean Green build… time will tell

Even some of us old Ford guys (my first car was a 1975 Ford LTD and only 2 non-Fords in the decades since) will admit that even the best can screw up. Having said that, Mean Green, Tock is right...Ford needs to fix that for you. You have an amazing rig and deserve it to be right. Tock, I hope...
  4. Just curious, how many miles did your bronco have when you picked it up at dealer??

So here's a question that ties into this thread ....how many of yall did or intend to get a fresh oil change at 1000 miles (after initial break-in)?
  5. Just curious, how many miles did your bronco have when you picked it up at dealer??

10 miles. College Station Ford called me at 4p, Friday 02 February, and except for driving it to the garage to install the tow package and to top him off at the gas station, 250 of the 260 miles are from me. Picked him up the next morning and have been enjoying every single mile since.

  7. How many miles?

260 miles on my '24 BB that I picked up on the 3rd of this month (with only 10 on it), but it's the daily driver as well as for going tent camping in places I can't get to towing my camper with my F-150 (2016, 2wd).
  8. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up down here so I can drive to work doorless each morning.
  9. 2024 Badlands Delivered. Stitched Dash Pad Photos

My '24 Big Bend came with a regular dash. That stitching definitely takes the class level up a few notches... very nice.
  10. 2024 Ford Bronco Review: Yes, it's awesome, but ... Autoblog

I've only got 260 miles on mine, mostly highway and 2 lane country roads, but it's not much louder than my 2016 F-150 and I'm enjoying the drive (manual transmission) as much or more than the 2005 Mustang GT (the only other machine I bought new). Maybe the folks that think they're loud live in...
  11. New guy here

Welcome aboard. You and Joe are going to love his Bronco.
  12. Can you identify what trim this Bronco is?

If she tells you she wants a Bronco in Eruption Green Metallic with a manual transmission, you'd better start shopping for rings ...that's a keeper then.

  14. First 100 miles

A fr A friend of mine bought a '23 Escape from my salesman, he said they were sending a $100 referral check that I never got, but no big deal. My friend gets ridiculous gas mileage in her Escape, he made ordering and picking up my 2 Dr BB easy, and even though I'm paying a little more than I...
  15. How risky is buying used?

If you stay with your '24, you'll know everything it's been through since it left the dealership and went home with you. The question is how much is that peace of mind worth to you? A '24 will cost more short term, but unless you know what the previous owner did to the used Bronco, it could be...
  16. First 100 miles

I got mine from College Station Ford too. They actually made everything easy and low pressure. I had to do a nice review for them and the Bronco is turning out to be exactly what I needed to take over from the F-150 except towing the camper. Who was your salesman? I had Kevin Garcia.
  17. Just curious, how many miles did your bronco have when you picked it up at dealer??

    10. I picked up my 2dr BB Saturday with 10 miles and now have almost 100 miles on Monday. I've used both 4H and 4L due to conditions on my land (and my BB being a manual transmission). It's already proven to be as capable as folks on here said, which is much more than Ford will admit.

  19. First 100 miles

Sounds like Divine confirmation. A very cool story. If your rig looks half as good plastered in slung mud as mine does I envy you. (My Internet sucks, so this may post a few times inadvertently.... country living).
