It sucks. I’m OCD. But I’m guessing lots of these plates will have chipping paint. I’d just coat the chipped area with touch up paint.

Yes I need to fully be able to drive under it. If I can make it 1 foot or less from the top of the ceiling to the top of the hard top this will work.

Yep. My challenge is I need to be at EXACTLY 1 foot or less or I’m screwed. PS - Instructions say to install the Crosby clamps with the nut side facing the longer length of cable. Yours look different. Does it matter?

So that mean the total length of cable that is looped around the eye bolts with the Crosby clamps is then about 6ish inches (1.5 before the first clamp 1.5 after that then 1.5 after that = ~6inche

I’m curious what lengths you used for your length of cable with the Crosby clamps. IE how long is each Crosby clamp section in total

Do you have a 2-door or 4-door? The cart will work for the 4 door but not the 2 without modifications.

Not everyone off roads there vehicles. That doesn’t mean I don’t love my Bronco. And I certainly don’t want to be treated less because I want my vehicle taken care of nicely when it’s at a dealer. That’s precicely why I don’t like going to the dealer

The addition of that 4ohm sub and amp made a HUGE difference. Stereo actually sounds good now!

I think it’s because the 2-door top is longer so the balance of where it rests is thrown off because the pads aren’t high enough. The shorter 4-door top shouldn’t have this issue. Heck they show it in the photostanding up with a 4-door top so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work!

For those experiencing the no key detected message - did you do any rear interior trim panel work?

I have personal experience. I bought it for my 2-door but it doesn’t work. The pads for the bottom of the hard top aren’t up high enough to provide balance without it falling over and the 2-door needs the cart modified for the 2 plates on the lip of the hard top to be able to stand up without...
