8/22 Blender. No mods this morning. I will check again tomorrow. Based on what I'm seeing, T+3 days seems to be the average these days. So Monday, 8/22 blenders I think should start seeing modules sometime on Thursday hopefully.
M1 in 4-Low is going to be super low, so if you were cruising at say 3,000 RPMs in M2 then downshifted to M1 in 4Low, I would expect a sudden rev match.
Daily update for 8/22 blender. No modules yet or status change this morning. I'll update again tomorrow unless anything changes later this afternoon. My timeline is below in signature.
GREAT THREAD!!
The "Ford Horsemen Thread" we shall call it, although that has an apocalyptic theme... oh well.
My bronc is blended today so hopefully in a few weeks I'll be joining this club. Current stallion is a 2019 5.0 Velocity Blue manual. My mid-life-crisis toy. I'm 51 so I guess...
Yep, I'm a 8/22 blender. I intend to keep the thread updated with my progress until delivery to Salisbury NC.
However, once delivery is taken, my participation on the forum may become sparse for a time. ;)
Shouldn't cause bigger issues, but if it does, warranty should get you a new one. You can try to be ginger about the 2nd to 3rd shift until they get you in. Or you could jump past 3rd and go straight to 4th. Or you could just send it, try to break it, and get a warranty replacement. You've...
Following. I have the JTops bookmarked as a potential purchase, mostly because i like their color selection. I think the driftwood tan would look sick on my Oxford White with sand interior.
Haven't done too much homework on options besides what i previously stated...
Based on what I've seen in this and other threads, once you have a WS with a blend date, you are pretty much locked in. I haven't seen much if any movement after WS is issued. I think it would take a significant logistical exception for your blend date to change after WS. Not saying it can't...
If you have rear seat passengers who like to consume liquid, something like this is a good, cheap addition. Also available for the front doors.
Also, if you opted out of the Ford side steps (they are fugly), then a nice side step like the GoRhino D6 or the Havoc side steps are a good first...
My neighbor, with his 3rd Bronco! Life has been treating you well! I finally got a window sticker and am scheduled for Aug 22 blend. Hopefully will be able to swing by with it by mid September if all goes well.
Yikes. No way a vice grip is gonna budge that. Assuming the control mount is fully frame-welded (appears to be in the pics) , you'll probably need to take it to a machinist who should be able to heat / bend it back. Looks like they will need to remove the lower control arm to do so.
If you are looking for blow-off sound, that's pretty easy. You can disconnect and cap the pipe where the BoV enters back into the intake tube. (At least this was really easy on the 2.7 F150.
Turbo whistle (like what you hear on big diesels) is much harder to achieve on an Ecoboost engine. I'm...
it is HAPPENING! Got my sticker just now. Blend date 0822. I'm build 908 out of 927 for the day, hopefully the line crew won't be too tired and ready to go home at that point.
This will be an interesting week in terms of window stickers popping. Historically the WS were coming out roughly a week before the blend date. Build week 8/15 however seems like the WS are delayed such that they are showing roughly 3 days prior to build day, or late in the previous week...
