I'm running one of these from the first batch and it's such a great upgrade over the stock plastic piece. The look, fit, and feel are all excellent and the installation is a breeze. It's a subtle upgrade that nobody but the driver will notice, but the driver will definitely notice.

Are you referring to this photo? That 3-wire plug is critical as it includes the remote power-on. Without that you'll have power and signal going to the amp but nothing else going happening. Did you forget to plug it in or was it just not present? Be sure you're upgrading a B&O system...

Considering that it costs more than $2k to upgrade the pre-'25 B&O system it's probably a reasonable number. That said, the post-upgrade sound quality is pretty off-the-charts, but that's all speaker selection and mObridge technology. It's nice to see Ford addressing the anemic sound quality...

Wheeled like this all day. The mat-looking-thing is my Dirty Dog 4x4 headliner folded back and stowed on the attic shelf. Let us wheel open top all weekend and still drive home with some sound deadening as I reinstalled the headliner before pulling away from the campground.

My second recommendation would be to drill holes and install rivnuts. They work wonders, and it's what I retrofitted on my rollcage to install the M2M flip-down attic shelf. Rivnuts and an install tool are both pretty cheap.

Capping the port on the factory sub addresses that 80hz dip. Fraser was surprised how solid the frequency response was on my sub during our tuning session. My factory enclosure is stuffed with poly-fil and very tightly sealed with 3D printed caps cemented in place.
