I work for a dealer that owns a ford store. After taking it to my local ford store and them denying me anything, it’s now at my company’s ford store if that makes sense. So I’m waiting to see what/if anything they can do for me before I go that route.

Too late for that. They had already seen my truck and complimented how much they liked it, until I had to bring it in for repair.

All I can say is JBM Off Road did my install and looked over the truck on two different occasions and everything checked out. All my suspension parts are RPG who also looked over the truck twice before I’ve taken it out. So I have no idea

I don’t disagree but Ford also promotes modding the Bronco. The fender liners are engraved with “lift me baby.” Maybe they were being ironic and didn’t mean it literally.

Option 2 - replace it and post it on bring a trailer.

What are some available replacement options? When I do a search online all I see is genuine ford rear housings available which is like a smack in the face.

I’m on the fence with what I want to do. Assuming warranty doesn’t cover it, what kind of options are available so I’m not doing this all over again in a few months? I wasn’t even driving the truck hard. I was hard on my 4Runner and never had a single problem with it and it was supercharged.

I am revising this post to clarify Ford is replacing the axle under warranty. The axle tube and plug weld issue is a warranty gray area and can go either way.
