Article: https://www.musclecarsandtrucks.com/tuning-the-ford-bronco-may-prove-to-be-futile/ TUNING THE FORD BRONCO MAY PROVE TO BE FUTILE The Bronco May Feature The Same Level Of Cybersecurity Hurdles As The C8 August 20, 2020 When Ford announced that they will be offering over 200...
  2. Black Diamond Daily Driver

My feeling is that if you can handle driving a Range or F150 as a DD, then you will be fine driving the Bronco as a DD.
  3. X-plan PIN at order or delivery

No you need to present the PIN at time of order since that's when you negotiate the price/payment options etc.
  4. Jeep owners - why are you excited about the new Bronco?

I've never owned a Jeep before but I was in the market for one until I found out the Bronco was coming back a few years ago. I've always liked the older Bronco's so this is my driving reason to get one, BUT I will say that the longer I wait, the higher the odds for me to get my money back and...
  5. 2.3 vs. 2.7 ultimate pro/con list

Well technically it's not two turbochargers for the 2.3, it's a twin-scroll turbine
  6. Did Ford make a mistake bolting the spare directly to tailgate?

I plan on taking off the spare and hopefully the mount is removable and rear camera can be relocated onto a decklid. I prefer this look over the tire on tailgate look
  7. Just signed up for Mustang Club of America for X-Plan pin

I think most people are using the X-Plan as a safety net measure against dealer markups (that was my intention as well). I generated the PIN and saved it on my email in case MCA do pull it from their membership for whatever reason.
  8. Iconic Silver Paint Thread

i've never had a silver car before but i'm sold on iconic silver for the bronco. Silver has always been a "classic" yet classy colour in my books, and now that i'm 40 I think it's time =)
  9. Videos of Bronco Badlands Sasquatch Show Roof Panel Removed With Roof Rails Installed & Rear Fold Down Seats

Thanks for the share! Definitely reinforces my choice in the 2 door =)
  10. What are some small, nit-picky things you want done right with the Bronco?

I'm all about the "less is more" approach when it comes to cars, so I find myself removing things than adding at first. One thing I definitely plan on doing is removing the spare tire and mount, and replace it with some sort of decklid panel (or the rear trunk door altogether if a decklid...
  11. Broke my own rule of never buying first year model

same here...but like others have said....reservation gets you in line, but if you don't wanna pull the trigger just take your money back and call it a day
  12. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

    that's exactly my concern
  13. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

Come to think of it....I don't use my brakes that often anyway so i'm good even if it's incandescent =P
  14. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

haha....well for me I plan on keeping it for the long haul so I can't get stuck with crummy/sticky/uncomfortable seats....maybe cloth is the way to go
  15. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

I agree on the aesthetics (so far), but based solely on personal experience with vinyl seats, like the ones on motorcycles and newer boats I've sat in, they still have a rubbery feel to them and not quite pleather/synthetic like those found in BMW's etc....
  16. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

I don't know how I feel about those marine grade vinyl seats, so I"m really hoping that Ford offers dealer installed leather seats. If not, I might still get the Big Bend and just get Katzkin
  17. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

Yeah it's all based on individual needs/wants. For me, the Bronco will be a daily driver so I want certain things like leather & heated seats, etc. I'm looking at Black Diamond and Big Bend myself, but leaning towards the latter as I won't need a lot of the upgrades offered in BD. I do also...
  18. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

geez....well i guess either swap 'em out for an aftermarket pair or just slap on a LED bulb in it (I like retro design cues but not retro bulbs ha)
  19. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

Yeah I'm wondering about the same. LED headlights are standard for sure across all models, but the way they explained the taillights makes me question whether it's LED or not for lower models (not a deal breaker but c'mon it's 2020 - LED's should be standard)
  20. Standard vs. Signature Lighting

Yeah I'm assuming there'll be an entire fleet of grille options from factory and aftermarket. I'm definitely looking to put a retro looking grille on her
