  1. Sound system issues

I understand and appreciate that. The upgrade was designed by and purchased from Crutchfield. I would be shocked if it was determined that that was the cause of the problem. Thank you for your feedback.
  2. Sound system issues

Checking the ForScan settings is no big deal but as I think back on the speaker swap, I really don't want to do that unless I absolutely have to. That was a project for this old man. Definitely under warranty - Just a year old and 9,000 miles.
  3. Sound system issues

No wiring mods. Speakers out/speakers in and mods via ForScan. Has worked fine for almost a year.
  4. Sound system issues

2023 bronco black diamond. About a year ago I upgraded all the speakers except the factory sub. All has been fine up until a week or so ago. Balance on the rear pods works but I have no front speakers. If I manually set the fade to the front, the rear become very “bassy” and low volume and...
  5. Water Leak...

Thank you. I will let you know if I hear anything. Last visit they said the seal they want to replace now is on national back order until March.
  6. Best way to listen to your music library on CarPlay

On my last three or four Fords, I've used "Ultra-fit" USB thumb drives. They're about the size of a dime. As a musician, I have an extensive tune library, tunes of all genres. So I have one drive for Big Bands, one for Country, one for Pop, one for Classic Rock, one for Jazz, Bagpipes, Fife &...
  7. Update: fixed today! - I needed to vent about my Bronco, feel free to ignore this post if you love yours ✌️

Wasn't it Ford who touted the slogan "Quality is job one"? I've been a Ford guy since high school (43 years). in the last 8 - 10 years, I think their quality control has gone down the toilet. My 2018 F-150 Raptor had the freezing door lock issue. I put up with it for six years because I...
  8. Water Leak...

Update 12/12/2024 - Bronco is home without resolution. The body shop found another seal they want to replace but its on national back order until March. I can’t fault the dealership or the body shop but to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I traded my 2018 F-150 Raptor for this...
  9. Water Leak...

UPDATE - 12/11/2024 - Round 2. Light rain overnight. Headed out this morning to run some errands. First right turn, the dash gets splashed from water dripping from the trim piece behind the passenger side sun visor. So long story short, the Bronco is back in the shop. I'm more disappointed...
  10. Another FordPass Update

FordPass has been updated again. Looks like you can add service records again and I DIDN’T lose my trailer light testing ability… so far. Wonder how long it will last.
  11. Can you remove the front fender plaques: Bigbend, Badlands, Black Diamond....etc.

I replaced the chrome pony too. Everything is black on white.
  12. Havoc Fastback Tan Top! Haven’t decided if I’ll keep it or not.

Back in the early 80’s I worked in a small ford dealership. I remember Rangers, Bronco II’s and F-150’s in the Eddie Bauer editions. Forest green and desert tan were a very popular color combination.
  13. Can you remove the front fender plaques: Bigbend, Badlands, Black Diamond....etc.

The newer the vehicle, the warmer the temperature, the easier they come off. I relocated mine so that I could add the Bronco script.
  14. Wiper Replacement?

I just put a set of Bosch Icon blades on my 2023 BD. Seemed to fit fine. 10 minutes tops to replace both.
  15. Water Leak...

My mistake. I had to go look at the badge. It’s a Badlands.
  16. Water Leak...

U P D A T E - Bronco is in the body shop. So far, they've found a plugged drain and a failed piece of weatherstrip. Parts ordered. On a side note, they gave me a 2024 Badlands. It has a few conveniences that mine doesn't have like a phone charging pad and heated steering wheel. I did notice...
  17. Latest FordPass App Update

Are you sure you have the latest version of the app? Open the app, click on the account icon in the upper right then scroll to the bottom. Version number is there. I have an iPhone 15 pro max. That might be the difference.
