OP, The level of my coolant reservoir was the exact same and I did not have any issues until I got to the dealership who graciously topped it off for free using the specified Motorcraft coolant.

Bought my Badlands in December 2021 and have 3,723 miles to date with no issues. First oil change at 1,500 miles (Motorcraft Full Synthetic) and will do my second at 4,500 miles…cheap insurance!
