This was before I had the amp so I don't know how much of a difference they make. They've been in since last July and I just put the amp in this last week.
These are the ones. Crutchfield says they won't fit. The centers do push slightly against the factory covers once installed but I wanted these for their power handling
So, after getting everything installed and now that I was able to not rush as I ran out of sunlight, I spent some time this morning redoing my Auto Eq test and properly adjusted may gains. I also realized after my first Auto Eq setup I had hit the button and turned off what the amp did, so now I...
I got my #11 kit and literally installed in under and hour. All I can say is WOW! My Focals were craving this power. I have this with a powered 10" sub and the system is unbelievable. Well worth the money and you can't beat ShopPay with 4 interest free payments over 8 weeks!
Love this. Just ordered it. I already replaced my speakers with all new Focal Performance speakers and hoping this will wake them up even more. I’ll post an update once installed.
Had some fun at Holly Oaks as well. I’m new to off-roading so I took it easy but had a blast. Really loved seeing all your Broncos...Can’t wait to go back!
So last night I was Googling “Jeep Freedom Panel Rattles” and came across tons of post about it suggesting using Blaster Silicone Lubricant.
Today I pulled the roof panels, hit every peg with the lubricant and after that, no more rattle. It was quiet as can be.
Reading further, that lubricant...
Well, after 1400 miles mine is starting the rattle and it’s super annoying. I took all the panels off and tightened all the bolds and parts. We push up on roof and it doesn’t go away.
Took the panels off and shook them and of course, no noise, so have to look else ware.
Going to see if I can...
The Focals actually are night an day difference. I did replace the 4" speakers as well. I didn't have speaker adaptors but cut the wire long enough to reuse the factory speakers. I also installed 600 hz inline frequency filters. System sounds amazing!
Sorry, been super busy this week with work. Make sure you grab the Metra 82-56055 speaker adaptor as the opening is larger than the 6-1/2" and you need that to fit.
