People should either do Option 1 or start hunting for exactly what they want on lots. The reality is that there are some loaded configs sitting on lots from people's cancelled order. Tons of Broncos for sale out there with the green window sticker.
There's no more 392 recons unless you buy off...
I love my 23 Wildtrak! I have lux, leather, MIC and that's it.
I was most surprised by how compliant the suspension is on the road after test driving other Broncos.
No MIC is truly BS.
I get some people would be happy with just soft tops, but never for me. A 2.3/manual or 2.7/auto High Badlands w/out SAS is still a great Bronco, but I couldn't imagine just having the soft top.
Thanks for the info.
I found somewhere selling the 450P for $290. Seems difficult to beat at that price.
Does the ARB kit include an easy way to deflate the tires? It looks like it's just a hose, and I'd have to spend more to deflate.
It sounds like this is a smart decision if you want to keep price protection and previously had an auto Badlands. My concern is the orders that were Badlands manuals mid package which you can't get in Black Diamond for some dumb reason.
Is 2.7L motor under constraint? I haven't seen that posted...
Thanks guys.
Based on those replies I am leaning towards a 450P. I understand it will be a bit slower to fill, but sounds like it will run cooler and will have no problem with the factory 35" tires.
I like how the Viair kits include the tool to deflate/inflate. I understand the included gauge...
You did the right thing taking an off the lot MSRP deal. Any dealer not budging on $5k plus dealer installed bullcrap is not worth your time.
Get some mud flaps to protect your sides and good to go.
ADM is dropping like a rock. You can find a good build at $3k over at most, MSRP is out there. Even on Badlands and Wildtrak hard tops. There's a 2 door white 2.7L 22 MIC lux Badlands still sitting on a lot near me.
With that said, MSRP on a 23 is still not a good deal for anyone with an...
I'm trying to understand duty cycles properly.
For a basic example I was comparing the Viair 400P to the Viair 450P. The 400P has more CFM but only a 33% @ 100 PSI duty cycle, while the 450P has a 100% @ 100 PSI duty cycle. Based on what I've read, this means that when it is pushing 100 PSI of...
This is sick! How much does something like this cost? Does it last more than 10 years?
Every time I've seen how much pro-applied ceramic costs, I go back to pulling out my random orbital and good old Collinite 845 twice a year.
I have had two vehicles covered and multiple repairs on both.
It has always paid out regardless of the size of the claim.
Any problems I've experienced were needing to have corporate coordinate with a dealer to give their service department a kick in the butt.
Never had a claim denied.
I'm preparing to add a quick connect for a CTEK battery tender.
When you say "other side of the BMS sensor so it knows that you are charging the battery" you mean one of the four terminals beyond the BMS, correct?
It does not.
Only the Wildtrak and Raptor have the stronger steering rack. Badlands also does not have the HOSS 3.0 suspension from the Wildtrak or HOSS 4.0 from Raptor.
There seems to be two sides to this:
It's by design (see: Mustang S550 half shafts).
The tie rods should be stronger.
I'm assuming that #1 is correct because the Wildtrak and Raptor have a stronger steering rack to go with their stronger tie rods.
I think #2s argument would be better stated...
Thanks! I don't mind buying from a dealer online and your link helps. I'm actually working up a larger list of parts I'll want to order and was planning to buy from an online dealer parts site. Can I DM you my list to see what lead times/pricing would be like?
It seems like the fuel tank bash...
I've searched and I've seen people mentioning they've added the additional bash plates to their vehicles, but I'm struggling to find the part numbers. My 4-door Wildtrak does not have the full vehicle bash plate option from the factory.
I believe I need:
Transfer Case - MB3Z-7E063-A
Fuel Tank...
Mabett really should've used an alternative mounting mechanism for the interior mounting point. The clips/push pins really don't seem like they are designed to hold a mud flap. They could've at least provided extra clips.
It's a very poor design choice. Think it's my own fault believing they'd...
