That's because Toyota doesn't actually get their vehicles from Toyota Corporate. The buy their units from a 3rd party vendor, commonly referred to as "the Port". So technically they can never truly custom order a vehicle. Dealers are limited to what the Port can supply them, are highly based on...
Nah man I love my 4Runners but just wanting something with all the new tech and stuff. Wife still has a TRD Pro 4Runner so I'll move my mods over to that one. Honestly if the Bronco didn't look so badass I wouldn't give mine up.
I think the 6th Gen will be something along the lines of a small displacement single turbo V-6. I'd love to see the 4.6 V-8 from the GX but I'm hearing that Toyota wants all V-8s gone. I'd rather see the same old 4.0L then that terrible 3.5L and trans combo out of the Tacoma. That thing is...
I'm ditching my 2016 4Runner TRD Pro for the Bronco. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love my 4Runner but it is pretty boring. We actually own 2 Pros so I'll still have one in the garage. The 6 Gen 4Runner is coming but I'm not expecting anything life shattering though. They do have a cult like...
Yep great way to buy. The 33' Duratracs on my 4Runner came off of a Ram Power Wagon. Got them for $500 with 7 miles on them. He upgraded to 35s before delivery.
Nope not at all. I'm coming from a 4Runner TRD Pro, lifted with 33" LT ATs. I'm betting the ride and driving characteristics will be very similar to the Badlands that I'm ordering. Only point of concern for me will be the thin hard top and road noise but I can get used to that. Of course I will...
Yeah I agree with you. I was originally set on Area 51 and I liked the black top with it and didn't really like the white. I've since switched to Cactus and I can't live with out the white top now. If the white is not available then I will order body color and have it repainted before delivery.
My local dealer offers a free Lifetime Powertrain warranty as well. Haven't talked to them about specifics yet. If it's free then I guess it's worth it but I wouldn't buy it.
Duratracs are ATs not MTs. I run them on my 4Runner and have been very happy with them. No snow in South Louisiana but did try them out in CO once. Any aggressive tire will be a little slick on wet pavement. The new Goodyear tires that the Bronco is pictured on doesn't look like a very...
I'm coming out of a 16 4Runner TRD Pro. I can tell you that you won't find a better built vehicle. Toyota's problem is that they are way too conservative. They are so far behind everything else as far as tech and features. For 2021 Toyota gave the 4Runner LED lights. If you want a very well...
Other the drag racing to the mall and some coolness factor it's going to be unusable.
Does anyone actually do this in a modern jeep? From what I hear you need a full toolbox to take off the top, doors, and windshield.
I'm coming out of a 16 4Runner TRD Pro and you are totally on point. I do...
