I just spent a few minutes stalking the 2 door Tuesday thread and it's EXACTLY what I was joking about the other day. All of the "purists" over there are boomers carrying on and on about all of 2 door vehicles they've owned in their lives. Reminiscing about old jeeps, broncos, Oldsmobiles and...
A point that is, um, pointless. It's still not a large vehicle in any capacity whatsoever. 4 door is 16" longer wheelbase. Maybe compared to a fiat or something. Nobody understood your point because it didn't really make sense.
Similar nurburgring times (m3 slightly faster) but...nicer looking (my opinion) far more comfortable and luxurious interior and with some track-focused mods would eat the gt350 alive. I would much rather have the M3 and then build to suit my needs. I guess that's just my thing vs your thing.
Sorry. Did I miss anything? I had to let my rottweiler outside, brush my beard and load up some fireworks in my girly 4-door before I head to the NYE party I'm going to
Do explain how the feminization of the American male contributed to lackluster 2 door sales and explosion of 4 door sales? I'm all ears. Should I round up my wife and 3 girlfriends for this conversation? Perhaps lay some guns and bows and handmade knives on the coffee table for the conversation?
I have no doubt that the gt350 drives a hell of a lot nicer than the other American bricks I've driven. It is definitely a track car and I have not experienced being able to drive one. Those Michelins are fine tires too. No doubt in my mind it's a fine car. For looks and performance, I'd...
I have not and I would appreciate the seat time for sure.
I have driven GTs, Cobras, Camaros, Challengers and a few classics. Some of them have some nice zoom zoom straight line power but they aren't very agile and they just feel sketchy to me in general, when compared to anything German or...
The newer mustangs look "ok" I guess. They're no 64 fastback though. But everywhere between 64 and like 2020, they loon like hell and they drive even worse
The proportions make sense on a 4 door. Clearly you're wrong about this as evidenced by lackluster 2 door sales and the eventual discontinuation of it entirely. Hell, even the boomer-bait, ugly as sin Stroppe edition didn't sell well enough in a 2 door to keep it alive.
I've had spacers at many other vehicles. I don't have them on my 2024 Wildtrak. I decided to just renove the squatch flares and put on some standard-width flares instead to get the 2" tire poke I was looking for
This is true. The 6g 2 door looks like a stumpy clown car. That was my fist thought when I saw a picture of one the first time and I reaffirmed that the first time I saw one in person. They just don't look right
This has been covered before. A child and a rottweiler that deserve their own windows. Some additional storage room both inside and on top of the vehicle for storage. And the look..the 4 doors just look better. I suppose if breakover angle was important to me and I was crawling it, then I'd...
