I had a co-driver who helped navigate, it was his first time "off roading" I think was a bit much as the first exposure, he will be fine. It can be done solo too. My orginal plan was to go solo but companionship has benefits.
I used an IPAD and LeadNav. Old schoolers use to use a vertical...
I didn't track fuel mileage. Probably wasn't great but other race classes can be happy to get 4 MPG, I bet mine was better than that ;).
Fuel quality was decent. First day I gassed up at Costco in Ensenada 92 octane, later in the day topped off 91 octane at a Pemex in Valle de la Trinidad (also...
Getting time off of work is tough too. If I could pick it would be NORRA's Mexican 1000 and fly my wife and meet up in San Jose del Cabo. Not sure just yet but it would be great to see more 6 gen Broncos.
A Bronco Raptor (Warthog) seems to be made from the factory just for this. Hopefully you...
I ran stock tie rods nothing added to them. I brought 2 spares - thought was that if one broke it could be replaced on the track, then alignment when back home.
Strengths and weaknesses below are for spirited recreational driving (not balls out competitive racing) and purely my opinion.

Sharing some pictures from last week, NORRA 500 safari rapido in baja mx. Stock BL SAS did just fine, bigger tires and better suspension would have been nice. Baja mode is pretty awesome. Hope to see alls-ya'alls on the trails back home in AZ.
I added them per NORRA chase light requirement - safety. Used aux 6. Blinding at night for sure but they work cutting thru the dust during the day. Would work great with foam guns, whistles, and tequilla shots too but that was 20 yrs ago for me...
6 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep (top area where pods are mounted). It is recessed a bit fitting inside the wheel. Could fit another type of light probably. Part of a Bajadesigns kit.
@RynoRanger I bought stuff online and when all arrived I spent time out in the garage putting it together. I don't know of a local shop that would carry all these bits an pieces. I have extra parts but not what you are showing below. Good luck!
