Also, a the point to which you refer, she supposedly is putting it in gear to pull away. Yes, that would be neutral (if it were a manual) as you state. But, she supposedly is putting it in gear to go forward. If she were truly doing that, the lever would have to be much further down for 1st...
I actually did some reading on this yesterday after I posted to refresh my memory. A new Blazer was introduced in 1992 along with the renamed GMC Yukon. They were both still 2 doors at that point. The Blazer continued through 1994. In 1995, they changed the name to "Tahoe" and introduced a 4...
It is interesting how the perspective of 4-door vehicles has changed. Growing up in the 80s, I wouldn't have wanted a 4-door car if you gave it to me. Now, everyone prefers them. My kids would never understand my disdain for 4-door cars. Also, no one cares about sports cars anymore. They all...
Precisely. Everyone talks about the Bronco going out of production, but it really just evolved into the Expedition. No one talks about Chevy cancelling the Blazer, but that is really the same story as it evolved into the Tahoe (there was a 2 door Tahoe for a while which I think made the...
I'm just glad the 2 door exists. Looking at Wrangler sales, Ford could have easily just produced the 4 door, and it would have still been awesome. Having the 4 door as the volume model also allowed Ford to give us the 2 door which is so cool and a bit cheaper than the 4 door. Win win I'd say.
I share you question. I understand the chart where it says you "need" a .67" lift for 33's. But what happens if you don't? It looks like you have a lot of room (that's just an untrained eye, so pretty meaningless). The Badlands suspension is .67" higher, but does that mean you really "need"...
OK, so if you squatch a Badlands, you get a Badlands badge (or Outer Banks or whatever) and if you squatch a base you get a Sasquatch badge? Oh, man, it seems like if you are going Sasquatch, you should get the Base just for the badge. That's awesome.
I think there are just some gremlins in the build & price that do this occasionally. I was building a Badlands yesterday, and the spare wheel disappeared just because I added the High package. I don't think it actually means anything.
