  1. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Didn't appear to be much. The Clamshell top on the 2dr is pretty small and mostly glass. I doubt it was even a few pounds at most. The front pop tops still moved around with one hand. No noticeable difference.
  2. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Yup, they can match any color. They paint over the black LineX. They can use a color code or they can take a paint chip to match. Pretty much unlimited.
  3. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Shouldn't be. The LineX coating adheres to the MIC top better than paint ever would. At least that's what body shops said, and why they recommended LineX over paint. The paint then is on top of the LineX as is a clear coat. They said automatic car washes are just fine. He just wouldn't hold...
  4. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

AMB was my first pick, but got pushed to 2022.....RIP Anti-Matter Blue
  5. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Exterior only. It wraps into the gasket area, a clean transition. The inside of the MIC has the sound carpet and would have to be removed. Would be a lot of work. Wimbeldon White Ford paint code is M1619. There are apparently two colors under that code, we did the more white one. The other...
  6. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Exactly how I did it, inside out. It was just so far out, I couldn't even get a screwdriver in to push the bumper and bar over. Mine was way off. Just glad the custom guy could figure it out. He said he's seen this stuff all the time with bolt on stuff.
  7. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

I'm all done.....Said no one ever :) So next projects: I want to put some round lights on the bumper centered under the hoop. Some driving/fog lights in the bumper. A rack of some sort, I regret not getting the factory rack, but it probably helped me get the Bronco faster. Maybe round...
  8. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

No real noticeable difference. I'm sure technically it probably does some.
  9. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Easily lifted with two guys on and off. Didn't appear to be much heavier, maybe a few pounds worth of paint? 2D Top is super small, I'm thinking way less than a half gallon. Most of that top is glass other that the actual roof part. But of course some weight was added but not enough to...
  10. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

It should have plenty of UV protection. Bottom coat is LineX. Then covered by paint, then covered by Clear Coat. Clear Coat by nature is the UV protector on the top layer. Car lives in a garage and is an occasional driver. Top will probably outlast me :)
  11. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Just the basic LineX. Didn't seem to need the upgraded one, it's more a coating that keeps it looking "fresher" longer as I understand it. It's painted and clear coated over the LineX as well, that's really the protection. And unlike a truck bed I'm not dragging crap over it all day long (I hope)
  12. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Pretty Zoomed in so I'm sure the texture looks like mountains. A couple feet away and you don't even notice texture really anymore than that of the MIC. Put a coin on for some perspective. You can really see how the paint and clearcoat smooth it out so it's not grabby like just the truck...
  13. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

I'm in Florida, so the summer, that's a real bonus when you live on the surface of the sun.
  14. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

LineX should be pretty bulletproof. Once they spray it, then they paint and clear coat over the actual bedliner material. Makes it smoother to the touch. Your Bronco build has been a guide for a lot of my build. I had the AMB originally, but then came 2020. Keep your videos coming!
  15. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

Shouldn't be any issue (I hope) with it staying on. Wraps will struggle with the MIC over time, the MIC isn't super smooth. My local body shop said they don't like to paint "Jeep Tops" as it doesn't adhere to the tops well over time and flakes. They recomended LineX. They said it will stick...
  16. Base Eruption Green & Line-X White Top Throwback Build, keeping the Steelies

The texture came out a bit rougher than the existing MIC. The orange peel is heavier "Chunks" , but not rough and grabby like a truck liner. Once they do the LineX they paint and clear coat over it. Really smooths it out.
