You forgot to say “yet.” ;)
Honestly though, my 2010 JKU never leaked with hard top or soft top in all the time I owned it, but plenty of my buddies’ jeeps did. I think removable tops on SUV’s are just hit or miss overall.
Couldn't tell you for sure on dealer size, but larger dealers that push more volume should have a better chance of getting you an allocation. High Package hasn't been one of the bigger constraints (if it ever was a constraint) so you should be fine there, but the 2.7L seems to be hit or miss...
I agree, pretty good video! Although, I skipped to the part where he's driving the Bronco.
I like watching this guy when his videos pop up. He really puts his toys to work! Definitely new to the Bronco, though. Otherwise I would have figured he would have mentioned the sway bar disconnect on...
The more camo on this bad boy, the better. Wow am I ever disappointed in the way this looks.
Kind of like the amber DRLs, but the way they contrast with this grille just looks tacky to me. Something just seems off. I hope it will look better in person, or at least on the final product. I wasn't...
I honestly love Hot Pepper Red and just saw it on a Ranger today, but my Jeep I drove for nearly a decade was red and it's time for a change. I am on the Cyber Orange train for now, but I could waffle to Eruption Green. I think I need to see it in person first though.
Ford needs to take me and...
Didn't see this come up anywhere yet, but all the paint colors were sprayed onto water bottles and displayed at SEMA this year.
Here is a screen grab from the attached video at around 22:30. Eruption Green looks pretty good next to all of the other colors!
I like that he is worried about rust on aluminum parts :)
Also, Jeep doesn't paint under their tailgate hinges either and the world hasn't ended yet so I think we are good. My 2010 JKU has lived its entire life in salty Michigan winters and of all the places showing rust, that is not one of them.
Saw an Area 51 Wildtrak today and waffled for a second... then saw a Cyber Orange Ranger about 2 minutes later and was instantly reassured. I love this color!
Did that hill in my Taco back in July. It is WAY steeper than it looks on camera. Not sure what this trail is called, but this was just about the gnarliest thing I was on. I believe it’s a 1 way so I only went down and had the Taco on 3 wheels. Did any of you give it a shot? Of course pics don’t...
There isn't really a good direct comparison right now for the Wildtrak. I would say probably the Mojave when that finally comes out, as it's only a Gladiator trim at the moment, but that is only supposed to come to the four door models, still doesn't have 35's from factory, and I believe is...
Rubicon Wranglers come with 33's and a sway bar disconnect. The Badlands comes with 33's and a sway bar disconnect. The Wildtrak comes with 35's and no sway bar disconnect.
The comparison isn't illegitimate, but it isn't the best comparison between the two vehicles.
Heard they take a few hundred miles to start figuring out your driving style... or maybe that's how long it takes the driver to adjust. Never noticed it in my dad's F-150, but him and I have similar driving styles.
I hadn't seen this, but I am honestly bothered to no end by people comparing the Wildtrak with the Rubicon. People should know by now the Badlands is the direct Rubicon competitor.
From what I have seen, XPEL Stealth (matte finish for those who don't know) is always more expensive than the clear version or 3M's clear PPF. I believe is has something to do with not being able to hide seams so they need to use more material or it's more labor intensive.
Going to get a quote on the whole vehicle, but will consider just the front end, rockers, and door sills if the price is too high. I believe most are paying around $5k for a full vehicle, but I have heard much higher and lower quotes. Depends greatly on the shop.
Just trying to protect the...
Current plan is clear PPF. If I don't do that, I probably won't do anything. Never had anything on my Jeep and it help up alright, but I am enjoying the mud guards that came on my Taco.
If anyone needs a flag, Holly Powersports sells them and they’re only about 2 minutes down the road from Holly Oaks. You can also get a mount if you need one, but they won’t be Bronco specific.
