This is so true. I shopped Jeeps a few months ago, got to this phase in the negotiation and saw upwards of $3,000 for "nitrogen filled tires, premium hand wash/detail, battery voltage testing, etc." and immediately I had the managers over. It is ALWAYS what you think it is, a bullsh*t cash grab...
Go to your dealer and ask them for a a full breakdown of your expected/agreed upon price. You do not need a VIN just a submitted preview order that covers everything up to the final MSRP on your sticker.
If you've discussed price verbally and have come to agreement (i.e. - MSRP, xplan, etc)...
Request your dealer provide and SIGN a Retail Sales Order (or equivalent) if you haven't already. As far as I can tell a Preview Order would not constitute any legitimate price agreement as it states clearly that it is not an invoice nor does it include any details of additional expense (i.e. -...
If you had a MIC produced, then reprocessed through the line that might explain the new blend/sequence number. Also would explain the changes to the shipment details.
found this that explains some of the other details. its the largest i could find sorry if you have to squint. two of those...
This is beyond f**ked. They NEEDED you to commit to an order so that they could fulfill their outstanding allocation, you did and now that you are "locked in" they are dumping an ADM on top of a verbal agreed upon price. If you bail, they sell it for minimum +$7k ADM, probably more. If you take...
Zion is beautiful, too heavy traffic to truly enjoy it IMO.
Bryce is also beautiful, tons of traffic but more pull-outs and casual hiking.
Arches is crazy, heavy traffic the entire length of the park road.
Capitol Reef was probably my favorite, lots of cool hiking and trails through the canyons
Modules wont generate any other changes/notifications. They notify you directly that its far along in the production process but until its 100% you wont receive an email/update from Ford.
The emails/notifications are definitely at least 1 day behind. Just noticed this from the B6G tracker, says my BL shipped yesterday but I was first notified earlier this morning.
Hope that can be applied to all stages of this fiasco, provide some relief for you who are still waiting.
Im 100% confident all of 9/6 will be built/shipped this week or early next. The reason for the delay of 9/13+ has to be a result of MIC 1.0 fixes and other commitments (Ranger builds?).
Michigan has some wack insurance regulations. Tort/no-fault is such a scam, take it from a Floridian who also is required to deal with this BS as well.
Funny story -- I once quoted a first time driver in Brooklyn. This kid was at the dealership buying a used Toyota Camry, only needed basic...
Really depends on your insurance company. Standard policy typically only pays the ACV (actual cash value) which factors in depreciation, some companies offer replacement cost as a potential upcharge. My concern is considering the scarcity of parts/replacements/over-adjusted purchase price...
I am, yes. I see there is some movement of the dirt mountain gang which leads me to believe brand new soft tops from 9/6 are getting built still, plus a mix of dirt mountain MICs/ and 9/6 MICs are picking up. We'll probably see more soft tops for now but over the next few days and even possibly...
