So thanks to those on this forum I think I fixed my problem. Went back to the drawing board and decided to put the stock 6.5s back in, and throw two bass blockers on the dash 4s (still Infinity Reference speakers). In combination with the swap back to stock on 6.5s it sounds substantially better...
Appreciate the input. I did not install an amplifier.
The Infinity Reference speakers are at each location so they all match brand-wise, and I've seen others post on here they've installed the same so I dont believe its an issue related to capability/compatibility.
I removed the connector and spliced new wires for the connections. For the wiring I used the diagram thats been floating around the forum in the audio threads, everything matched up and is routed appropriately.
I picked up my 4dr Badlands w/high package last week and in anticipation of poor audio from stock I ordered (4) Infinity Reference 4" and (2) Infinity Reference 6.5". I took my time to swap all the speakers, tested some bass blockers on the 4" speakers but removed them (think I ordered too high...
I looked at a Gladiator Mojave there 2ish months ago (literally the only one on the lot). No negotiation, MSRP plus DIO and then ADM of 10% roughly with all that worthless crap they shovel to dumb consumers. I walked and they still call me at least once a week.
Ive used a handful of CG stuff over the past few years, generally its plenty good. I will echo the regular hose foam cannon comments, I still use mine almost everytime but keep in mind all it will ever do is put soapy suds all over your car that you will have to wash with a regular mit after...
I got mine yesterday, and no I'm not disappointed in the slightest. Someone said it already but to echo it once more we have no idea what will happen with the supply issues in the next week/12 months so the stress relief alone is worth it.
I love mine, I'm sure I'll find some things that...
I really enjoy mine. Was also a MIC until I wasn't, made the change got the prep kit hooked up for down the line. I'm sure itll have disadvantages that come up in time but the fact that on a whim I can completely fold it down on the go is awesome.
Whatever route we all go with this Bronco, I...
I bought my lease in July this year, had a quote at Carmax for $3k more than my payout that day. At the peak of the used car market boom I saw the KBB reach $11k more than my payout total, waited to use for trade.
Ultimately the market has come down, seems to slowly be going back up, but as a...
the MGV is a pleasant surprise. I only got my BL yesterday but spent a good amount of time in and out, its more comfortable than I would've imagined. The "cheap plastics" are there but reading this forum I thought they would be worse than they actually are, not bad considering the demographic...
Is that Road America? Funny story - I was heading to Milwaukee for a return flight, randomly checked to see their events going on and happened to end up doing laps there in my rental car haha. Beautiful.
In yet ANOTHER twist in the story, my wonderful dealer who I could not recommend enough at this point, pulled some strings with the DMV and settled my title issue himself. They stayed open just to finish the deal, so I have officially completed this crazy ass 14 month saga that is Bronco...
