Same, manual is very unpopular on the 4 door in general, and I would expect even less popular on a 4 door base if it was offered. Assuming Ford made that decision based on how few base broncos in 4 door are ordered. Simplifying manufacturing.
Going up to a BB would be a reasonable compromise...
Curiosity got the best of me while looking at the data from the Consolidated Build Week Sheet maintained by @66Fan and looking at all that information I wanted a narrowed down view of how different models were being spec'd out. I don't think anything below is too surprising or unexpected, but...
Agreed, I think if you have a vin you're probably pretty solid.
I find it strange that non-res holders seem to get none of these communications. I don't get the 2023 email myself, but I'm not a reservation holder so.
It's not a hard and fast rule, in practice you shouldn't need a signed order sheet, it's just helpful if you need the to make the case that there was an agreement and an expected amount to be paid on delivery, but the reality is some dealers don't care no matter what you have. I hope it works...
Sounds like you got 50% of the broncos built in 2021... haha
Your daughters build sounds the same as mine for this build week. Got mine in green with the mod bumper.
Did you talk to someone at the dealer in person or over the phone and get a copy of your order sheet, or was everything done online? If you have your order sheet, and is shows MSRP, I'd call up your dealer and ask about the $5,000, say that doesn't line up with your order sheet... play dumb, be...
If you had an agreement with your dealer to pay MSRP, you should be paying that. I'd call them after the labor day holiday and try and find out.
Of the markups I've seen, I'd say $5,000 is "reasonable." That said, I'm hesitant to say any surprise markup is reasonable. Anyone who paid a...
I like mounting the compressor there for the space savings for sure, excellent design, got this on my list of options for sure!
I wonder though, the compressor could probably also be mounted on the inside of the tailgate and use the passthrough to get the air located inside the tire, obviously...
@66Fan These spreadsheets are epic, it's just too cool seeing all this data come together.
I'm gonna guess you have to be marketing, but really anyone sales, marketing, engineering, R&D... seem to get really excited about a well put together spreadsheet. I'd say this is not the normal content...
Bronco Build Week 10-10-2022
@66Fan Can we add the 10/10 Build week spreadsheet to this thread? Or Start a thread for that.
*Assume I know nothing, I've avoided the forums like the plague till I got any kinda update from my dealer.
I ordered on a Saturday, I received notification from ford of my order on Monday. My order is In the system. Sorry for the confusing language, I don’t have a build date and don’t expect to see that soon.
I have an order from 2/19/22 that was pulled on Monday 2/21/22. I talked to my dealer this morning and they said my price will be the price it was on my order sheet on 2/21/22, and if the MSRP is higher I'll have a private cash offer from ford, so I'm going with what my dealer said.
So... I placed my order for a Base Bronco with my Dealer on 2/19/22 and I was charged my deposit and received an order conformation from Ford on the afternoon of 2/21/22 (i.e. Monday). The pricing on my VOC is MSRP prior to the latest price increase. I dont have a vin, or anything other beyond...
