Probably just the picture, the DW always looks differnt to the DR25 under full recovery as the glue makes it fatter and in pics it looks gapped some times.
Wow this thread certainly went a bit further than what I thought. I love text books they are good to hold up my fixtures and in reality putting a 30 AMP draw on the 1.5mm2 with supplied by ford in a 3" length got hot to touch. Hot = BAD so I still think FORD has NFI what they are doing in...
Which bit are you looking at ? Everything in that picture is a shrunk and is a mixture of DR-25 and Dual Wall . Tefzel is well worth the few extra $$ and works much better with Deutsch IMO
Yep here is a link to the bar

Thanks for the feedbck. I have decided to loom up the 4 x LP6's with some 16 GA Tefzel and then will use two 35A relays to get the switching I needand limit the ability to turn on high and low at the same tiime . End state will be the Hi and Low will switch on a fused 35Amp relay and the Ambers...
Yeah its not 4130 though its 1020 DOM and it looks like they fish mouthed the tube at the end as opposed to flat ending it but I guess there only so many way sto mount 4 LP6's as close to the grill as possible yet still have clearance for the connectors.
Ahh ok I guess I always just called that a degree + Masters + PHD and never called it multiple degrees in the same area, makes sense I guess now you explained that people reffer to that as multiple degrees. Thanks.
I think the LP6's fit just nice up front on the Bronco. Nots sure who your fabricator is but I got mine from AceCraft (https://acecraft.pro/store/ols/products/2021-bronco-light-bar) if anyone is looking, certainly makes fitting easy with those factory bolt on points.
Looks like my Bronco will be seeing the New Year in easier than expected with the addition of 4 x LP6's from @Baja Designs and an AceCraft Bolt on Mount bar. I am still working out the exact final setup for the relays but I couldn't wait to at least power them up. I was initial concerned they...
damn thats a lot of info .. lol. as the internet is a dangerous place for context and I never know who will read this I think it is fair to say that amp capacity of a wire is directy effected by length due to the increased resistance creating a voltage drop which in turn reduces amps that can be...
High quality in txl / gxl or even tefzel you could run 30 AMP on 16 AWG at maybe 2ft long after that it drops quick before heat catches up. Thats why Ford doing it confusses me as you said the risk is high and the return is low.
I will just add a fused relay and avoid the issues, that way I...
thanks for the feedback I will have a look into your links.
1.5mm 2 is only rated to 20 AMP so I am not sure why you say its good for 30 amps nothing I can find say it will and converting it to awg makes it 16 AWG which is underr 20 amps. Thats why I am asking as it seems weird ford would...
I have a 2025 Raptor and want to add some driving lights. Looking at the Roof Switches to turn them on and it looks like I have Aux 1 running factory Rigid lights on a 10AMP which leaves me Aux 2 at 15 AMP and AUX3 at 30 AMP. I want to run 4 x LP6 BD lights which are 7.5Amp each on high so 30...
