Yaā¦..Iām not 100% sure Iām recalling that info correctly, but I think Iām close, ya crazy itās so expensive. Iām on my 2nd MIC and had in my mind that I would consider that upgrade too, but when I saw that post I figured the Linex route is what I will end up doing. Hopefully somebody else that...
Going off memory on this forum, I think it was said that the painted top alone is like 7 or 8 gs and it comes only primered then your looking at roughly another 3 grand or so to get it prepped and painted. I could be way off here but I think thatās what was said here before.
Iāve always owned a 4wd but I only use it when camping/ hunting and up in the snow in winter time. Iāve never taken any of my rigs out just to drive through mud bogs or to see how steep of a hill or how big of a rock trail I can get up. I use it when I need it and rather not chance beating it up...
MIC tops are notorious for crackingā¦..regular gloss black painted MIC will crack too. Linexed MIC top most likely will not crack. As āHalfmuleFarmerā said, why not just buy Bronco with OEM painted top? It is not simply a painted MIC top.
Aggravatingā¦ā¦.I've been getting 4x4/powertrain fault about every 30 days like clockwork, only when starting engineā¦.doesnāt go into limp mode or prevent goat modes, lockers or any other powertrain functions. Turn off engine and start it back up faults gone and doesnāt do it again for about...
Welcome Sir!! Nice Broncoā¦..Baker City native myself.
That picture sure makes me miss āHomeā. This is a great forum for most any question and any recommendations you look for. Enjoy!!!!
Nice in depth write upā¦ā¦just wondering how the volume of the enclosure effects the sound? I would think itās too small of an enclosure for the bigger speaker.
Itās possible maybe, but Iāve disconnected my battery more than a couple of times and it never affected my infotainment settings. I have had to do window reset procedure after reconnecting battery though
Now that you have everything reconnected and fault icon still there, I would try to disconnect negative battery terminal for 1/2 hour or so and reconnect to see if it might clear.
Iām guessing Filson brand carriers are very small shopsā¦..must be, honestly I grew up camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, logging etc and I never heard of Filson until this Bronco edition. Iāll be waiting until they hit the dealers I guess.
Hilarious, they must not be expecting much of a turnout here in Phoenix ā¦.the event address is a tiny strip mall with like 10-15 parking spotsā¦.Nice š¬
Meā¦. I would carefully use a heat gun to soften and make the thin scraped remnants soft and then while itās still soft use a piece of scotchbrite or some sand paper to imprint texture. Ive used heat for various plastic repairs for many years so I myself would be confident in the repair. Just...
Unfortunately thatās the same boat many have found themselves in. Iāve already had my top replaced and as most with a MIC, concerned about warranty expiration. Choices are to live with it, buy a new top(OEM or aftermarket) or have cracking top linexāed. Itās a real shame Ford is letting all of...
Should have power, thatās the 7 pin connector. The cover on connector shows wiring diagram of pins. Think itās like the 7 & 1 oāclock positions. The black and white wires are 12v and ground.
EDITā¦.
Oops, just looked on mine, itās the 4 & 10 oāclock positions
Bummerā¦.Maybe they sent ones for Bronco Sport. They definitely do not look like they fit especially the rear. Man I seriously hope they sent wrong vehicle otherwise those are way off!!!š
