  1. Was “Planning for Moab” - NOW “Off-Rodeo Reservation CONFIRMED!” - Some questions....

All good info folks, keep it coming! Confirmed my reservations today. Will be doing the Off-Rodeo on Sat. Sept 10th! Staying in Moab at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites, not at the fancy resort ($1200/night just WAAYYYY too steep for me) Reservations for Arches on Sun 9/11, will find something else...
  2. Anyone drill into standard bumper to mount lights?

Hmm, that may be the perfect option. Modest Bull bar and light mounts. Any problem with it blocking airflow?
  3. Anyone drill into standard bumper to mount lights?

In exploring the bumper, I came across those bolts. Didn’t realize that it’s all that’s is holding the bumper on. Hmmm, may just pull it off and see what I am willing to do with it. I’d like both amber and white. Beside, I bought an 8 switch gang box and need to add stuff to make use of all...
  4. Bronco vs. Deer

I’m new to the group, only had my Bronco for a month and wasn’t an ordered one (at least not by me). However, you guys have SERIOUSLY disappointed me. Six pages of comments and I am the first to say ”You got BUCKED!” Glad you are ok, sucks for your Bronco. Does it have a hard top you wanna sell?;)
  5. Anyone drill into standard bumper to mount lights?

My sticker doesn’t say anything about an optional bumper and my understanding was the “Capable” is this one with tow hooks
  6. Anyone drill into standard bumper to mount lights?

I have a standard bumper, would like to mount two basic lights (amber) to supplement the factory fogs (OBX Lux). Most off reading I will do is forest roads, really don’t need winch mounts, more clearance, etc and seems silly to spend money to replace the bumper just for bolt on m Anyone done...
  7. How to add a Keyless Entry - The Supereasy Edition.

My dealer charged $90 to program, another one quoted $300-$400 but I don’t think she understood what I was asking for.
  8. How to make my Bronco better offroad?

Sounds like a problem with the Steering Wheel-Driver’s Seat Interface Module
  9. Who's adding Keyless Keypad Entry and why?

$92 after the 20% discount code, another $90 for programming (used my points for that). Now when in the woods, at the beach etc. Lock the fob (in a faraday pouch) in a Lifepod safe in the cargo area (with OEM Secure Cargo Enclosure) and no worries about losing the fob. One of my hiking...
  10. Bagged and Body Dropped '69 Bronco

Go Directly To Jail Do Not Pass GO Do Not Collect $200
  11. Was “Planning for Moab” - NOW “Off-Rodeo Reservation CONFIRMED!” - Some questions....

All good info, keep it coming. We have decided to bite the bullet and pay to stay closer. Next question, once I make my rodeo reservation can a guest be added or cancelled for refund? I want to get the spot reserved but the guy I am going with hasn’t given me a definitive answer (or cash).
  12. BMW: 0 vs Bronco: 1 (rear end incident)

Don’t feel sorry for her. Hopefully she will learn from it. I make a point of having a Rear-ender Dissuasion Device in my hitch at all times. Ten pounds of powder coated solid steel. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083HWP5PB
  13. My twist on increasing door pocket storage…,

Good quality, nice powder coat. Included self-tapping screws for the rears make an easy install. I think they are a bit heavier duty than the molded plastic options for not too much more coin.
  14. Is the OBX Lux w/Leather the best trim?

OBX, 2.7L, Lux here with leather/vinyl seats. For me, it is the best trim. Traded my 2017 Mustang GT and 2019 Ranger Lariat SuperCrew for it. I am at the point of life where I appreciate the finer things. Most off-roading mine will see is forest and gravel backwoods roads. I got non-Ford...
  15. New Swag from Ford -- Weather Resistant Playing Cards

I never ordered a Bronco but recently bought a new one at the local dealer (was a cancelled order). Will I get any swag?
  16. Was “Planning for Moab” - NOW “Off-Rodeo Reservation CONFIRMED!” - Some questions....

Unfortunately the person coming with me precludes camping. $230 a night vs $100 night in GJ is about $400 for three nights. Probably should have mentioned my only "off road" experience is Forest Service and gravel roads. Absolute neophyte when it comes to anything more complicated so need to...
  17. Was “Planning for Moab” - NOW “Off-Rodeo Reservation CONFIRMED!” - Some questions....

I am starting the planning to attend Moab Off-Rodeo in September. Moab hotels prices are crazy, looking at Grand Junction as an alternative. I'll be driving my '22 OBX down from Seattle WA area, planning on two days to get there. Looks like GJ is about a 2 hour drive from Moab, before...
