I just had the lead frame issue on my 2016 f150 at 65k, justtttt out of powertrain warranty. $980 later, but at least fluid and filter were changed. Lifetime sealed tranny just means itās hard to service, not that it never needs it.
Can also get 4.7 with badlands manual, which is my most likely choice. There will be plenty of outer banks driving around with 3.73ās and 35ās, which will be much worse than 37ās and 4.7 (and prob 4.46, but I donāt want to do math).
This is all subjective, but I'd be the 4.7 axle ratio will run fine with 37's, especially with the 2.7. There are thousands of Jeeps running around on 35's with 4.10's (or taller even) that do fine. They aren't going to burn up a drag strip, but they're fine off road and for regular driving...
So, Iām new-ish around here. Joined just after the reveal, and Iām more of a reader, as opposed to a poster, but just wanted to pass a story of spontaneous pineapple pizza.

Jeep dealer here had $1600 in add ons when I bought my wife a grand Cherokee including wheel locks, paint protection, even detailing!
I told salesman we werenāt paying for any of that. He asked me if I wanted it delivered without it being cleaned. I basically just laughed. Slime balls.
In Shreveport, reserved at Wray Ford, but sales(wo)man said she didn't know about ADM. Didn't even get to discounts. I'm in, especially if DFW or Houston area dealer.
I think they want to make the Sasquatch on 35ās feel like it has lots of power. With the 10 speed, can have multiple overdrive gears get those RPMās low on the highway to make up for aggressive rear end.
I have a black diamond reserved, but thinking I may have to move up to badlands to get sway disconnect and 4.7 gears. Itās a ridiculously important thing to have sway disconnected in order to drive slow over difficult terrain.
Coming from a Jeep, it was super easy to install manual quick...
