yeah.. no response to emails.. will call. Yup.. got it new..has the notches and the spacer. I ended up following the advice of a few here and added additional weatherstripping., and swapped out the plastic spacer for two metal washers. I'll be giving them a call as well.. Appreciate the response.
glad I found this thread.. Just put mine on the 2 door today..Extremely bowed on the drivers side. Huge gap in the back.. Can totally see light all the way thru it. Reduced it somewhat by swapping the 5.5mm spacer out with a single 2mm one (approx), but the gap is pretty bad. I'm hoping as the...
Just had to add...put the Contential A/T's on last week.. MASSIVE traction improvement over the stock Duellers, especially in the rain. I will say it feels like they are a few dB louder, BUT, the 'feel' of the road translates really well into the steering wheel and seat.. I'll take a tiny bit...
OR..trade for a nice bottle of wine :) 1700 easy miles on them.. NO WHEELS. Just figured someone here could use them. Otherwise, I'll find somewhere to donate them. Available after 11/25.
Cracks me up seeing posts about all these wiring things/work arounds to disable Auto StopStart.. is it REALLY that hard to just PUSH THE BUTTON to turn it off before driving?? :). I'll never get back those 3.5 seconds every day, I guess. ;)
2.7 OBX Advanced. 20-22 on my daily commute in ECO mode (cuz do I really need 330hp to go 30-40 mph in commute traffic??). of course I do. :). It certainly drops down to that 18 range during Sport Mode Impunity Days though :)
I have absolutely noted this on my 2.7 OBX. For me, I just let it sit in the driveway to do a full warm-up before I drive it. And that seems to fix it. I know it’s not ecologically the best thing to do :-)
I went for a 2 color die cut Spear, but wanted a more subtle look. Went with a customized 1/8th inch 2nd blue color (instead of the regular 1/4”) to match the OBX graphic, and grey as close to the roof as I could get. What’s extra cool is that the color seems to shift and change depending on...
I think I’ve found the most absurd {$55k?] ADM dealer…Jackson Hole WY.

Hi Daniela! Ms. Jasmine is actually a retired Greyhound. She's just on the petite side of the breed. And, she's our 5th one. And indeed, one of her best buddies in the world is a Whippet friend!!! The good part about greyhounds, they are big couch potatoes :). The whippet wears her out...
Took the wee beasty out to some fun forest service roads this weekend and put it through its paces. Even with the 'boring' OBX tires, it performed FLAWLESSLY in all modes. If anything was gonna break, this little trip would have done it. I'm especially impressed with the hill-control system...
I love my 2dr OBX 2.7/lux just like it is :) Will probably do the Bestop next spring, a little 'spear stripe' kit for subtle color, and some storage goodies, but that's it. Ok.. probably will switch over to some Continental Terrain Contact A/T's if these Duelers get sqirrely in the PNW rain on...
Just posting a followup. Initially diagnosed by the fault codes as a defective Transfer Case Control module. Tech went to replace with a new one, and pretty much said 'yah..this wasn't hooked up properly and wires were also loose". Soooo.. no new module, but great communication and...
just heard from the dealer and they said the Transfer Case Control Module is defective and they will try and get another sent as soon as possible...3-4 days or so, depending on availability and if they can expedite shipping. I'll see how this goes :)
