You from NJ? Buddy and I were trailering a project car back to VA after purchase. Apparently everyone in NJ thinks you’re going to beat or rob them when you nod and say hi when going in a store.
To each his own....and granted I have a 2dr Bronco and I installed a Bestop Twill soft top..but how long DOES it take to drop a 4 dr soft top and put it back up?
I actually timed it this morning, because I stole the wife's Bronco to take it to work.
It LITERALLY took me less than a minute -...
$40K EASY on trade in here in central VA. That's just going from dealer sales / auctions. The right dealer (volume) you could probably get more than that.
17x8.5 with 0 offset work great. I've got 315/70/17s with this wheel size / offset on a 2dr BB with ZERO lift or spacers (removed crash bars) and they fit great. Zero rub even under flex.
You don't need to pay for a license to use Forscan - you just use the 2 month extended license, you can renew them (the same way you got it in the first place) with no cost.
The benefit to the extended license is DIRECT support from Forscan. I could not write to DDM (Drive Door Module) or PDM...
Pretty much what he said. I personally will never run an oiled air filter again. Just my preference. I had a K&N filter years ago when tuning a car - and I chased my tail for WEEKS tuning that thing - turns out it was the oiled filter. This was a total custom EFI setup and the setup simply...
First off - the 2.3 (the 2.7 as well for that matter) will NEVER sound like a V8. I only did this mod because this exhaust is stainless and cost less than $500 shipped, and I wanted to get rid of that HUGE factory muffler (once I saw it - I couldn't unsee it) and I wanted to be able to hear the...
It fits - it was literally made for this engine. It snaps into a plastic post already mounting on the Bronco 2.3. It DID cut down on idle noise, so FOR ME - it was worth it.
Yesterday I installed the Ranger engine cover. I didn't do it for looks. It cuts down a good bit on the injection noise of the 2.3 while idling in my shop. I might spring for the Ford hood insulation. Most people wouldn't care - just bugs the shit out of me when I pull the Bronco in the shop to...
Check with a local credit union. I had refinanced my '19 GT with them (and then promptly sold it - wasn't a planned thing) and when I told her we were expecting the Bronco, she just kept the app open so she wouldn't have to pull credit again. I don't like banking with large bank chains - it's...
They are out there. You have to call and visit dealers. Emails and website visits ain’t gonna cut it most of the time.
My neighbor is a first day reservation holder. Original dealer screwed him over ( incompetence). He moved transferred dealer, still waiting.
In the meantime, he found a new...
I’m just patiently waiting for AFe to release their non oiled replacement filter. I have used it in multiple vehicles for years. No oil, easy clean, flows better than stock and many aftermarket and did I mention no oil??
zero flapping or noise at 75-80mph. No reason to go 90mph in my Bronco. Rarely did it in my ‘19 GT unless it was at the track.
Top down, windows down, interstate speed you can hold a conversation without yelling.
In fact, compared to the Hardtop panels being out vs soft top, there is alot less...
