  1. Ford neutered the Broncos 2.7L

I kinda thought it would be faster also. I have a 2019 Raptor and I knew it had another 100ish hp but it is also like 5500lbs. Thought it would be closer but my butt says the Raptor is in the 5’s and the Bronco is in the 7’s to hit 60 mph. Both on 35’s. That damn F150 Raptor is super fast...
  2. MGV Headrests: Any aftermarket options to fix?

There was a mistake with your build then. MGV only goes up and down. Do you have the rear cup holders also?
  3. MGV Headrests: Any aftermarket options to fix?

One of the main reasons I went with leather. Leather over MGV seating surface made little difference to me. The rest of the package was worth the $2000 to me though. You get: -leather seats -power seats -fold down rear armrest and 2 cup holders -carpet -driver and passenger adjustable...
  4. Do I Buy This Bronco?

My VB stable mate. It’s just a great color. I did not want the two to match so went Race Red but I’m convinced that VB is the best color. Edit to add: I quoted the wrong person. Sorry!
  5. Do I Buy This Bronco?

Do it! Velocity Blue is the best color! I went with Race Red only because I already have a F150 in VB.
  6. Things I worried about prior to getting my Bronco that I don’t worry about now

I was worried about my Race Red Badlands having the orange interior accents. Have a little over 5000 miles and it has never bothered me. Love the Race Red. The thing that does bother me that I was not worried about was the lack of ventilated seats. I have had them in my last 3 vehicles and...
  7. 2.3L or 2.7L is everyone happy with either engine.

Love the 2.7. It’s in a four door badlands Sasquatch.
  8. Thoughts on 2.7 fuel economy

The new engines get better mileage, less pollutants and put out better hp and Tq figures. It’s all 3 combined that the manufacturers are going for. Look at a 1993 Ford Mustang cobra 5.0 compared to a 2022 Mustang 2.3L. 1993 225 Hp 280 Tq 15 city and 22 hwy mpg 2022 Mustang 2.3 330 Hp 350...
  9. What gas mileage are you getting with 2.7 and SAS?

I’m at 5000 miles on my four door badlands, 2.7 with Sasquatch. Lifetime average is just a hair over 19 mpg. I think 19.1 last time I looked. Does not seem to matter much if it’s around town or hwy. A trip to the beach got my best tank of 21 mpg. It was a lot of traffic keeping the...
  10. Having a hard time making a decision

I have been super happy with my race red!
  11. Having a hard time making a decision

It was pretty easy for me. I wanted ALL the options! Really wanted some options that they don’t offer. Like ventilated seats and a V8 option. So that meant a Wildtrak or Badlands and there was no HOSS system back when I ordered so Badlands won out pretty easily. The color was the hardest...
  12. Wireless phone charger doesn't work.

Same here. I though the heat was from the phone working the apple car play. I don’t know anything about this but was just assuming. Mine has ever shut off or stoped charging. Apple car play works great. iPhone 13
  13. UPDATE: How to Permanently deactivate your Bronco Auto Start-Stop through the dash for free.

I asked that same question one time to someone in the know when the Porsche 911 went to this same auto start stop the Bronco has. When Porsche first added the feature it would stay off with the push of a button, even after restarting the car. After a few years Porsche changed and the button...
  14. Bronco/Bronco Sport Trade In Plan: Dumb?

I would buy a Wrangler and not the Bronco Sport. You get the top down, doors off fun with a better wheeling platform and probably better resale when the Big Bronco finally comes in. The Jeep is FUN and available if you look around a little bit. Now the Bronco Sport will be a better road...
  15. Mode and doors/top on or off doesn't impact my MPG

I’m in the same boat. Four door, badlands, Sasquatch, 2.7, Lux, leather, tow, soft top. Always around 19mpg. On several beach trips I got up to 22mpg but by the end of the tank was back around 19mpg.
  16. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

44, married with one child. 4 door It just looks better to my eyes.
  17. Saw a 2 door Sasquatch in the wild !

I have started seeing a good bit around town but very few Sasquatch Broncos of any kind. The vast majority are big bends or outer banks of different flavors both two and four door.
  18. ‘23 MY predictions/ what we know

How about a manual Sasquatch Black Dimond with the mid or even high package.
  19. Just came in

Race red is the best color! Beautiful Badlands, congratulations!
