TL,DR; manual worse but more fun, Bronco is fun car so get fun choice.
Like most things automotive, you have to choose the characteristics suited to you not just select the 'best'. After owning both a 4dr 2.7 BL SAS and then a 2dr 2.3 7MT BL I can explain what I consider to be the major pros...
Saw this ^ post earlier and thought, "I think think I recognize that white bronco from driving near where I live."
Run to the pharmacy and I'll be damned if don't see @alfiefmc again with an empty spot next to him.
Mounting the single compressor is a bit different than buying one not in the case I'll warn yall.
It seems there is a different connecting plate for the box than would otherwise come attached to the compressor.
You can adapt the plates sold and replace the rivets with screws to secure it to...
Manual always has gear listed in the gauge cluster. It's helpful since the short throws between shifts make it more difficult to feel which gear you are in
My thoughts on the Ford Performance. time I just put on my 2.3 7MT 2DR Badlands on OE K02s:
The near silence of the power train makes it more difficult to rev match and heel-toe. I'd learned this car, but definitely wasn't perfect at it. The rev-matching transforms the experience with its...
Do you have a part number or bolt dimensions?
Eager to do this mod as I've definitely hit my control arms on rocks and don't want to cause any serious damage on the bolts or bolt threads.
Can't wait to try it. I'm interested to see how quick/well well the rev-matching works. It could make my off-road driving smoother if it works in 4L.
Does the rev-matching feature work while in 4L? Does it further change differences between drive modes?
4WD 24/7 field repairing Ranger Raptor with a broken tie rod. Cool to watch a field repair on components that our Bronco’s share with a Ranger Raptor.
Does anyone manufacture an emergency aftermarket tie rod in case one busts?
I had just about given up on the color matched handle project until seeing this, I love waiting in the forum for finds like this. That bronco looks incredible!
I put myself in a bit of a precarious spot yesterday so I've got no room to criticize, but rather glad to see others have gone through similar learning experiences recently.
Picture taken right before thIs nice fellow in the 4Runner pulled me out to safety. We managed to have an excellent time...
How do you find the changes to the ride with the falken 255/80 R17?
I love the look of the high offset wheels paired with narrow tires but I'm hesitant to move from the comfy stockC rated tire to an E rated tire.
My 2.7 badlands with 2,951 miles built on 12/12/21 wouldn't start, and was mostly non responsive. Battery swap didn't remedy it unfortunately.
I'm hopeful somehow.
