I’m trying to avoid an opener that can be actuated without the car being on. Since I park in the driveway, if someone breaks into the car, they could then use the opener to get into the garage and once in the garage, they could get into the house.

Not just that, it looks like they left the cable disconnected requiring interior panel removal and other disassembly. Holy cow! Seems like I either have to set aside a day to do it my self, or pay somebody to screw it up :)

Yep, totally my fault for assuming. It has so many other great features, I just assumed homelink would be there. It still seems kind of silly that it’s not, but it is what it is.
