I considered this with my old Jeep TJ. DId a lot of googling and found a couple of videos that did in depth studies. The results showed zero positive effects and possibly some negative effects.
Do a lot of research before changing the intakes. I seriously doubt any change from factory would be beneficial and could cause damage. things that effect mpg: extra weight (IE tool boxes & added accessories), tire pressure, tire type, fuel octane, quality of fuel, ambient temperature...

think of it as paying $10/tank more for good fuel for better performance, better mpg, while better for your bronco. Three things I never go cheap on fuel, oil, brakes
23 badlands 2 door. I could not justify the sas. Didn't see any value for me. I drove it twice 2000 mile trips last year. very happy with the ride and road manners. ..plus, sas is just enough taller that I'd have trouble getting in and it would not fit in my garage.
I don't know about the numbers but I can feel the difference. I'm an old hot rodder - I can feel the difference with carb adjustments, timing, fuel etc
