  1. Never needs Service, Sealed for LIFE Transmissions, when do they actually need Service?

I just had the lead frame issue on my 2016 f150 at 65k, justtttt out of powertrain warranty. $980 later, but at least fluid and filter were changed. Lifetime sealed tranny just means it’s hard to service, not that it never needs it.
  2. Bronco makes cover of Car & Driver Oct/2020

Also on cover of motor trend. Have had this around a few weeks!
  3. Off roading with a manual transmission Bronco

The torque that you'll have with that low gearing and crawler gear in low will rarely if ever stall, especially if you're not on pavement.
  4. Airing up (after airing down for camping and offroading)?

I have had an ARB OBA setup in a Jeep. I’ve also had an amazon compressor that worked well. It’s all about the cfm of the compressor.
  5. 2021+ Bronco (6th Gen) Factory Tire Size & Wheel Size Comparisons (Circumference, Diameter, Height, Width, Bolt Pattern, Center Bore)

Can also get 4.7 with badlands manual, which is my most likely choice. There will be plenty of outer banks driving around with 3.73’s and 35’s, which will be much worse than 37’s and 4.7 (and prob 4.46, but I don’t want to do math).
  6. 2021+ Bronco (6th Gen) Factory Tire Size & Wheel Size Comparisons (Circumference, Diameter, Height, Width, Bolt Pattern, Center Bore)

4.46:1 will still prob do ok, but I’d much rather have 4.7. I’m a manual only type. Forgot the auto only came with 4.46...
  7. 2021+ Bronco (6th Gen) Factory Tire Size & Wheel Size Comparisons (Circumference, Diameter, Height, Width, Bolt Pattern, Center Bore)

This is all subjective, but I'd be the 4.7 axle ratio will run fine with 37's, especially with the 2.7. There are thousands of Jeeps running around on 35's with 4.10's (or taller even) that do fine. They aren't going to burn up a drag strip, but they're fine off road and for regular driving...

  9. Pineapple ? Pizza ? Explained (Pineapple 101)

So, I’m new-ish around here. Joined just after the reveal, and I’m more of a reader, as opposed to a poster, but just wanted to pass a story of spontaneous pineapple pizza. As my wife and I were putting our 2 and 3 year olds down to bed, my daughter pulled out some shorts she wanted to wear to...

  11. Refusing “Mandatory” dealer add-ons?

Jeep dealer here had $1600 in add ons when I bought my wife a grand Cherokee including wheel locks, paint protection, even detailing! I told salesman we weren’t paying for any of that. He asked me if I wanted it delivered without it being cleaned. I basically just laughed. Slime balls.
  12. Texas volume order start up thread: survey link now included!

In Shreveport, reserved at Wray Ford, but sales(wo)man said she didn't know about ADM. Didn't even get to discounts. I'm in, especially if DFW or Houston area dealer.
  13. Badlands vs. BadSquatch (Badlands + Sasquatch) Comparison Chart

I think they want to make the Sasquatch on 35’s feel like it has lots of power. With the 10 speed, can have multiple overdrive gears get those RPM’s low on the highway to make up for aggressive rear end.
  14. Badlands vs. BadSquatch (Badlands + Sasquatch) Comparison Chart

I have a black diamond reserved, but thinking I may have to move up to badlands to get sway disconnect and 4.7 gears. It’s a ridiculously important thing to have sway disconnected in order to drive slow over difficult terrain. Coming from a Jeep, it was super easy to install manual quick...
