Can anyone explain what Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat means? Is the paint metallic or the clear coat? How will it be affected by polishing?

I never understood why they do this. When I bought my F-350 Platinum it was only available in 5 of the 11 colors and the King Ranch in only 7 of the 11.

The way I look at it is if I don’t like it I’ll still buy it and I’ll sell it and make the mark up the dealer would make or at least something more than what I pay for it
