I was thinking this from American Adventure Labs. Take off the side edge pieces and put the skiis in a bag to keep the grime off.

+3 dB is doubling of the noise level. So yeah I can see how a roof up would be significantly louder than a F-150.
But also guess the hard tops are noisy too, makes me think even less about a change to a hard top.
I've found after about 70 mph is really when it's noticeable. Neat idea tho.
Like others I notice cars coming up beside me from the rear more than anything else. But looking forward to not winter (in Colorado) so I can enjoy the soft top to it's fullest!

Thanks, the shop I found had a high price for sandblasting and said it depends on how hard it is to get the old finish off. Any idea how the sandblasting went?
Friday was the big day! Ended up arriving 8 days after the estimate from Ford email, and the singular reason was that it sat at the railyard for 13 days.
