+3 dB is doubling of the noise level. So yeah I can see how a roof up would be significantly louder than a F-150. But also guess the hard tops are noisy too, makes me think even less about a change to a hard top.

I've found after about 70 mph is really when it's noticeable. Neat idea tho. Like others I notice cars coming up beside me from the rear more than anything else. But looking forward to not winter (in Colorado) so I can enjoy the soft top to it's fullest!

Yes I get the same. After 5 days of ownership it just sometimes happens and I'm choosing not to worry about it right now as it's pretty infrequent.

Thanks, the shop I found had a high price for sandblasting and said it depends on how hard it is to get the old finish off. Any idea how the sandblasting went?

Do you know if the shop had to sandblast before powder coating?

Friday was the big day! Ended up arriving 8 days after the estimate from Ford email, and the singular reason was that it sat at the railyard for 13 days. Just in time for the snow!
