  1. Tow capacity will keep me from switching...

I figured with the Bronco on the Ranger platform, and with the 2.7, we'd at least match the 4Runner in towing capacity. Net yet a deal breaker for me, but it is a bit of a bummer.
  2. Cancelled my reservations today! FORD, are you listening now?

Okay. Bye. I'm giving Ford more than three days to figure this all out before I get dramatic.
  3. What song / music will you be playing in first drive of your Bronco?

The Offspring - Pretty Fly For A White Guy
  4. Would it be dumb to change my reservation at this point?

Thanks for the heads up. I found the thread. Yikes. I'll give it a month before I get too worked up. They created this monster, I'll give them time to see if they can sort it out. If they cant, I'll join the other dissenting voices and be sure they hear me.
  5. Would it be dumb to change my reservation at this point?

Hmmmm. Where has this been confirmed? I haven't checked with my dealer, but I'm definitely not paying a mark up, and I was counting on switching if it was an issue. Ya' got me nervous!
  6. Which trim for light offroading/camping?

Plus ten points for asking the question. My suggestion is focus on the interior options you want. Get the lowest model you can get with the interior stuff you want. The capability already baked into the platform will be plenty.
  7. Would it be dumb to change my reservation at this point?

Outside of the First Edition, my gut tells me it's not going to matter as much as we think. It wont matter until we actually place a real order. Why do I think this? Based upon the sheer number of options available. So I chose the Outer Banks. I want a hard top, and a 2.7, maybe some 'squatch...
  8. Is Sasquatch Being Auto Only a Dealbreaker?

It's a bummer for sure. For family reasons, I can't do manual. For enthusiast reasons, I liked to imagine the idea of a base with Sasquatch, manual, and tune.
  9. [LOCKED] FORD ANNOUNCEMENT: Reservations shutting down in a couple hours!

That's my secret, universe manipulation attempt. I figure if I keep the reservation assuming it'll be delayed, everything will happen on time. It's 2020, we have to try anything at this point. Ending up with 3 payments, yeah . . . that'll get dicey. It'll be a good, "How much does my wife love...
  10. [LOCKED] FORD ANNOUNCEMENT: Reservations shutting down in a couple hours!

My lease is up in August. I think with production delays, we will be just fine!
  11. Ecoboost Tuning FAQ

Exactly. Perfect for us non warranty voiding folks. Once the warranty is up, game on. Factory turbo cars make me happy!
  12. Ecoboost Tuning FAQ

I'm hoping Burger Tuning develops a JB4 for the 2.7. I've had a JB4 piggy back on two vehicles. It's awesome and removes quick and easy, so no problems with voiding the warranty.
  13. How Ford designers (torx) screwed the Bronco in the best possible way

I like these little details, but mostly I saw this as a bit of a gimmick. Cool but not a big deal . . . then I read this article. The idea that these specific Bronco stamped bolts are a visual clue to differentiate the bolts meant to be taken off is BRILLIANT. It's not just cool, it's not just...
  14. What do all of us future Bronco owners do for a living?

Nice! The tour was years ago. For reference I have an unopened bottle of batch 2 in the beer barell series. And I only break out the coconut rum for people I like! My in-laws opened Tarpon Springs Distillery in January. I lived in SRQ 14 years. Gosh I hate being land locked.
  15. What do all of us future Bronco owners do for a living?

I'm a kept man. A house-husband. Some might say stay at home dad. My wife's a lawyer. Livin' the dream! (some sarcasm there, trust me.) And interestingly, my in-laws also own a distillery in Florida. This is my second edit, because I'm guessing your rum distillery is Siesta Key Distillery. I...
  16. Bronco Reservations Tracking List & Stats [Enter Yours!]

I was persistent Monday night, and I was able to register a 4-door Outer Banks. My local dealer called me around 9:45am Tuesday morning. He sounded about as excited as any salesman who might get a sale in ten months, but I was happy for the rapid contact anyway. I asked him how long he had...
