  1. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Reporting back, less than 500 miles and numerous swing outs, and I'm hearing some atrocious creaks/groans from the swing mount area of the bumper. I'm thinking this may need periodic touch up with grease (or I simply went too light with it on the bearings at install), especially as weather...
  2. Raptor style tail lights

I can vouch for the quality of these/the seller. It's worth the wait, just gotta keep it on your Amazon watchlist and be patient. I paid 200 for the set, and I'd buy it twice with no hesitation.
  3. Raptor style tail lights

Nah, they're a red lense replica:
  4. Raptor style tail lights

I always thought Broncos with base lighting configurations needed an additional harness to make them compatible with signature lighting/Raptor lights, but I could be wrong. I purchased these to replace my signature tail lights, and the manufacturer included a harness for base models to use...
  5. Prototyping a "Modular" Turn Offroad Hard Top...

Update #4: Reapplied some more JB Weld to the passenger side (touch up to make the seal sit a little better). Now is the time to finish this thing up: In-Progress: Repainting the driver panel from white to rhino liner black 320 up to 800 grit Will apply a second coat tomorrow, and start...
  6. Turn Offroad | Aftermarket Hard Top NOW AVAILABLE

I keep periodically seeing some black billet side badges for the hard tops across social media reposts, but the product isn't anywhere on the Turn website. @Turn Offroad how does one go about procuring a set of those? The black & white laminate badges installed on my top are shedding the first...
  7. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Looks killer with Carbonized Gray! Tell me more about that reverse light coordination you've got going on with the supplied pod lights...not that I forgot to do anything with mine or anything 😅
  8. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Update: After much back and forth, and wire testing, I figured out my issue. The parking harness male end on the left side of the bumper refused to seat properly into the connection point mounted to the rear quarter. Once I applied some wood working clamp pressure to it, it clicked in place and...
  9. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

I stripped once per section (at the license plate light on the bracket & at the Ford OEM plate light connector), and connecting in between with the supplied wire and crimp connectors. Worked for all of 2 minutes, then never again. I even swapped out the light bulb itself to make sure it wasn't...
  10. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

The more I'm splicing and chopping into the license plate line of my rear parking harness with zero luck, the less I'm recommending this bumper and any that require a license relocation bracket. Now I'll likely need a new rear sensor harness, as I've irreparably modified/damaged the license...
  11. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

As presented, factory defects (case by case QC issue) + critical parts missing + ineffective video instructions, I would not buy this twice at full retail (~$1200). A Black Friday sale would heavily sway me though, as the only alternative of this exact style and look is Expedition One.
  12. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

When it's all said and done, I am happy to not have my spare tire hanging off my door with those iffy hinges from Ford, but man this was a struggle that didn't need to be so rough. Granted, I'm looking at it through the lens of "Expedition One is over 2K in most places, this is half that. Half...
  13. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Much appreciated! Overall, Turn needs to address supplier issues (I received a dented swing gate arm, quite a few scratches down to bare metal in random spots that wouldn't be possible during shipping, didn't have enough backing nuts for the tire carrier stem, and have no extended rubber bump...
  14. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Finish Line (60 minutes my 🫏): Still have to address my license plate light being out (my fault entirely for wire stripping too well and ripping the negative out of the connector). Would I do this again, or recommend this...absolutely not. There's way too much information missing and QC issues...
  15. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Gotta love good craftsmanship: Now the bearing seal this needs to sit on won't fit unless this crazy dent is addressed. I'm slowly regretting not going Expedition One and paying the extra grand.
  16. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

For whatever reason (incorrect product being the most likely culprit), I had to semi-hollow out each sensor retainer to allow it to seat and lock both tabs on either side. Luckily, everything fit, and no errors or false alerts so far. However...that license plate relocation bracket wiring...good...
  17. New Bumpers from TURN Offroad

Currently fighting tooth and nail with the supplied sensor retainers 🫩...horrible time to hit this roadblock with no ass end on the car.
  18. Prototyping a "Modular" Turn Offroad Hard Top...

Update #3: Started the day with the first water intrusion test. Driver side passed, passenger side failed with several drops. Re-seated new seal on passenger side and followed up the entire underside with JB Weld. While not final, wanted to at least make it close to the same colorscheme for...
  19. Prototyping a "Modular" Turn Offroad Hard Top...

Update #2: Ended up using Ford's midsection seal, and modifying it to work in the valley of the Turn hardtop (shout out to Turn Offroad for keeping the mold so close to the OEM top). The excess material where the side seals wrap around at the rear passenger windows were removed completely. The...
  20. Turn Offroad | Aftermarket Hard Top NOW AVAILABLE

Fit and finish looks great, but my back aches just looking at that front panel. It's heavy enough with just the fiberglass, I can't imagine how maneuverable that panel is.
