We recommend removing any PPF just in the area that the panels stick to. This is just to ensure the best adhesion of the SolarClasp fastners. PPF etc can have some release agents in the surface that don't allow for the best adhesion.

If there is a factory vinyl installed in that spot then it would need to be removed prior to installing the solar system.
