  1. MIC top delaminating?

Here is more information on the 2021-2022 Safety Recall. https://bronco6g.com/forum/threads/recall-26s32-2021-2022-model-year-broncos-mic-hard-top-roof-panel-delamination-may-15-2026.132966/ It will just be a matter of time before every model year is included because now Ford has realized the...
  2. How common are cracking issues on latest hardtops?

If they are willing to sell you the colour matched painted hardtop for 65% off then I would go for it. Otherwise it sounds you're getting hooped.
  3. UPDATE: Hardtops need to be redesigned! Cracking and bubbling on my second hardtop replacement

I think it boils down to a lack of quality control at the Webasto factory because babying your Bronco or treating it like stole it does not seem to impact the failures of the hardtops.
  4. New wheels on Stroppe

I prefer all black myself. I actually prefer your current wheels.
  5. UPDATE: Hardtops need to be redesigned! Cracking and bubbling on my second hardtop replacement

The Jeep tops use a more traditional manufacturing method so are heavier. Ford opted for supposed state of the art technology in the manufacturing to reduce weight for fuel ratings and EPA etc. As a resulted the MIC tops are lighter. I'd rather have a heavier top that didn't fail.
  6. What are the small things you only notice after living ...?🤔

For me I am still waiting on the next version of the mud guard cover between the modular bumper and body that Mabett used to make. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/mabett-front-fender-filling-flap-available-now.61416/
  7. Ceramic Coating…Would You Do it Again?

A self healing PPF is money much better in my opinion. I've done ceramic coatings on several vehicle over the past 15 years and I think I'm over them now. Not good enough bang for buck for me.
  8. MIC Hard Top Failed

No correlation at all. Owners have failures in hot climates & cold climates. Some owners have garage queens that never see dirt or trails and report failures. Others who go off the beaten track and treat them like they stole them sometimes get cracks and sometimes not.
  9. Day ride to the lake.

Ah right on. They look very similar and totally awesome on the Bronco.
  10. Day ride to the lake.

Great pic there. Those running boards.....are those the Westin HDX Drop Steps? I had that brand on my previous pickup truck and loved them. Your steps look similar.
  11. Watch this before buying a Bronco hard top lift! (full comparison video of popular lifts)

Good Morning. I noticed the EZ4x4 Hardtop lift for the 4Dr is showing preorder on your website. Do you have any notion on the timeline for them being back in stock and ready to ship?
  12. We wrapped our hardtop because Ford denied our color mismatched panels, ...details inside!

Thank you for that great write up for anyone considering going with a wrap on the MIC top.
  13. New Top-Level Bronco Model Trim w/ New Grille & Wheels Spotted

That grill looks too busy for me.
  14. Any floor mats you like better than WeatherTech?

I went with the Tuxmats as well but the Costco versions. Costco sells the Tuxmat but rebranded as Phantom. They are identical and even arrive in a Tuxmat box. You can order them online and the ones through Costco are a bit cheaper. The black Bronco logo I added.
  15. Hyundai Boulder Concept debuts as Bronco fighter (not April Fool's joke)

Yup they usually look like an emaciated shadow of the concept vehicle when they come to market.
  16. Considering XPEL PPF - anyone with experience

Just to add to what I've already said about Xpel. Another forum member mentioned yellowing over time. That was not my experience but I know life in the sun belts area differs greatly from me in southern Ontario. My previous vehicle was a pickup truck and I had Xpel Ultimate plus on the front...
  17. Considering XPEL PPF - anyone with experience

I am a firm believe in the benefits of PPF and Xpel is my "go to" with any vehicle I've owned over the past several years. I have the Xpel Ultimate Plus on my Bronco. I love the self healing capabilities of this product. I did not get full coverage as I don't have the budget for that. I have...
  18. 2027 Bronco Changes Spied

    And easy to keep clean.
  19. Undercarriage Surface Rust

As others have said there are numerous oil based undercoating options available that all work well and some work better than others. Just stay away from the old school Ziebart style that is like a tar based that over time hardens up and cracks open letting moisture get in behind it. It is a...
  20. New Shoes for The Beast.

They look like mine that came on the Wildtraks.
