Just goes to show, itās all in how you look at it. A chicken and beef burger can be either a disgusting frankenāburger or a fine medley of meats, lol.
A Bronco or Jeep truck is not perfect at off-roading or truck stuff, but can do both good enough for most.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
It will be interesting to see if my ordered vehicle handles as well as the test drive vehicle did, because it was great. And Iāve still got my Bronco res, just going to wait a bit for things to settle down and get rolling, then see where things are.
Iāme buying something else and it has taken the stress off of the Bronco wait immensely. Itās gone back to being a fun wait for the Bronco, which I think Iām going to love, instead of annoyance and anger. Feels better and I wish I had done it months ago.
I guess I just like having a place in line with locked MSRP, in case I decide to go for the Bronco. I already ordered another vehicle on the 9th (rubicon gladiator, already have the window sticker so should be here in the next week or so) and my only big regret is not doing it sooner. But I kept...
I see some people saying they are focusing mic top production on 2-doors since 2-door folks have no other options, and others saying 2-doors are screwed. Iād like to know which is true.
(also, is this a bad time to mention I already got my window sticker for the rubicon gladiator, after...
Youāre not wrong! lol They definitely took a small truck bed and smashed it onto a Jeep, and I can see why it makes purists angry. And Iām not a fan of how they look without a lift. But Iām hoping itāll be fun to take it topless and through the woods, and Iāll only ever need a small truck bed.
I was going to drive the Mojave too, but the rubicon felt just right so I went ahead and ordered it. (Got my vin in two days!) Iām hoping I can justify the rubiconās front locker and sway bar disconnect one day, but if not, no big deal and I will at least learn from it. And I figure itās easier...
Iām still trying to decide if I should ask my dealer to change my order to wait for 2022, or just let my order proceed since itās a 2-door and likely 2022 no matter what. That will give me time to see how I like the Jeep Gladiator.
After reading all the horror stories on here, I expected the...
I just ordered a rubicon gladiator. Havenāt cancelled my 2-door Bronc, but I gotta get out there this summer. I can get some stuff cleared in my woods, and hopefully have some fun before I make a decision on keeping the gladiator or switching to the Bronco when itās readyā¦
lol I donāt think anybodyās āmansplainingā. And if we are talking about things being unfair, itās gotta suck being a guy and having a slight disagreement with a woman, because then you get smacked with the mansplainer label. For what itās worth, Iām a woman and have asked a ton of questions on...
My guess is, because itās fun! Also the same answer I gave my husband when he asked why in the hell I wanted a 2 door Bronco as my daily driver when we have an 8 year old and 2 dogs.
Or maybe there are other more valid reasons for more power, but fun seems like a good one.
.
Is there a place near you where you can go check the 4 doors out again? I considered switching to the 4-door, and drove an hour and a half out to see the broncos again this last weekend. I realized there was no way I was going to settle for a four door. It really helped seeing them again...
I feel the same way, thereās something about the truck from the back that just doesnāt look right. But lifted and with big tires, the sides and front look pretty good.
It is funny, but I guess thatās just the nature of the internet. Iām sure over on the soccer mom forums they are having flame wars over whoās better, Walmart or Target. (but letās be honest, at least that one has a clear winner...)
Thatās similar to what I want to do. I figure the gladiator will get me back on the overgrown logging trails in my woods and I can use the truck bed and maybe winch to move stuff around and clean them out,, and then when the Broncos are available in 2022, maybe Iāll have the trails nice, and...
Not the op, but for myself, I have been spending time on the gladiator forum and here. It seemed like when the Bronco is brought up on the gladiator forum, the responses are more like, āyep, looks neatā and a more level discussion on the pros and cons. Here, when the gladiator gets brought up...
