I don’t find the 10R80 to have any of those characteristics. Nearly everyone who owns a Ranger loves it including me. Sometimes the downshifts are somewhat aggressive but I wouldn’t say clunky or jerky and definitely not slushy. It’s a very nice transmission.

The 2019 ranger came with one for 2.3 but it was cut for subsequent model years. Kinda lame and it did offer some sound deadening. Sometimes people order it from the parts department and add it to the newer trucks. I imagine the 2.3 ranger cover will work just fine on the bronco.

I think it looks perfect and just needs new shoes. I’m selling the black appearance wheels and brand new hankooks atm’s of my ‘21 ranger which would be perfect on this.

I have seen a51 a few times now and it’s honestly really boring. I initially liked it far more the cactus grey but after seeing a few CG rangers it’s waaaay cooler the a51. The CG bronco crowd is getting a really cool color which is far different than my initial impression.
