Installed today and I agree a little more responsive and from ~18.7 mpg I bumped up to 21.5ish up to 22 mpg on my first drive today (lots of red lights, not on the highway) so far seems like a worthwhile investment.
I didn't know there was a first responder discount. Too late at this point. I hope it all works out for you! I hate that salesman cant give us a break. They act like they go through life without trying to get the best deal for themselves in whatever situation in life.
This is exactly what im going to do. 1k upfront and 3k every time after.
These turbos love oil changes. I wouldn't push them past 5k oil change intervals.
I checked today in ny dark garage and with a flashlight I see a fair amount of light coming from the inside of the Bronco when I put some light where the front passenger hard top panel meets the mid passenger panel along the side where the non driver side doors meet.
Going to change over to Molygen at 1k miles.
And change every 5k miles. It'll never hurt to change the oil in an engine and as little as we'll drive ours, it'll be 5k miles or every year, which ever comes first.
It's so easy to change the oil on these things, I don't see why doing an oil...
