Why don't you strap large/heavy items down then? Never, in the history of ever, have I just thrown things like that in the back of any vehicle I've ever owned. That's what straps are for. Take the 60 seconds to tie the item down and this wouldn't be an issue.

I'm thinking an out of balance tire still or it needs an alignment. Tires don't need to be worn in. I'd steer clear from that 1st dealership from now on too.
